Retro Sunday Squared With The Scholarly Nail - Revlon StreetWear Grinch

Hey gals!

Happy Sunday, and welcome to yet another week of Retro Sunday Squared with me and Jacqui of the Scholarly Nail! As I know I've mentioned before, Christmas is my favorite time of the year! I love the polishes that come out in the holiday season, and I love discovering vintage holiday gems of the past even more! Today I have a crazy rare StreetWear polish to share, Grinch. I never thought I'd see this polish is person. EVER. I'm still dreaming of owning Rudolph. *sigh* One day! :p I bought this polish for SIX FREAKIN BUCKS on eBay! Lucky for me, but oh if that poor seller only knew what they had on their hands. Oh the price an action would have brought!

Grinch is just beautiful, hands down. One of my top greens glitters EVER. Let's talk why! The COLOR! Bright, vibrant, IN-YOUR-FACE green, people! I'm wearing it now and it's so distracting how awesome it is! JUST LOOK AT IT! Drooling yet? The density of this glitter is pretty great as well. I had good coverage after just the first coat, but alas, I ended with four to wear this alone for bald spots. BLINGY GREEN GOODNESS!

Next up I have a little layering experiment with Grinch to share. It's too dense to use as a good layering glitter, but I thought I'd share it anyway. I started off with China Glaze's Ultamate Holiday, added Nina's Fruitcake, and one coat of Grinch. Don't love it, don't hate it. It's doesn't quite mesh but I do like how the red glitter peaks through.

Don't forget to check out Jacqui's blog!
