Layering Fun: Revlon Top Speed Celestial FX & Sally Hansen New Lengths Mosaic Creme

Hey there, dolls!

Today's my day off, so I thought I'd actually post today LOL! I'm trying really hard to get back into the swing of things by posting every other day now. I miss the days that I could post everyday, but like just won't allow that right now. *sigh* Oh the life of a blogger. I feel like I've been out of the loop with the polish community for so long.

Anyhoo, today I have a layering combo to share that shows off one vintage polish and one brand new polish that just came out! Revlon, as you know, is one of my favorite brands EVER. Between StreetWear and their overall amazing-ness, that steal my heart over and over again. Today I have one of their new Top Speed glitters to share (which are now CORE! Yippee!) Celestial Fx. I love the concept of this polish! Silver micro-fine holo glitter with large star, moon, & diamonds. They were quite the pain in my you-know-what to fish out. This is one coat over Sally Hansen Mosaic Creme, up next!

Next up I have the undies of the manicure to share, Mosaic Creme. OMG I've been lemming after this polish for so long, and I was so happy to snag it from a blog sale. Mosaic Creme is a dusty slate blue/gray creme polish that has a stone cool feel to it. I don't know why but I adore this polish. So much. This is two coats.

Have a great Thursday!

Catrice Cosmetics - Dirty Berry

Happy New Years Eve Day!

I hope you all have a fun night tonight planned! Unfortunately I work ten hours today and ten hours tomorrow. :( The holiday pay is awesome, but I have to take it easy and go home early at a party we're attending. Ah well. What are ya gonna do?

Today I have a polish my buddy Paulina over at The Gore Princess sent me, Catrice's Dirty Berry. Thanks again, girl! OMG I don't know why it took me so long to swatch this gem, I LOVE IT! Dirty Berry is a medium-toned dusty lavender holographic polish. It's like magic on my skin-tone! I really need more Catrice polishes in my life, I think I only have four or five. Formula was pretty great, this is three coats to even out.

Be safe out there tonight!

China Glaze - Ultamate Holiday

TGIF!

I hope everyone's week went by fairly quickly, I know mine did!

Today I have a China Glaze LE Ulta Exclusive from 2011 to share, Ultamate Holiday. They released this one and a rust/gold colored polish Fireside Glow, which I never got around to picking up. I found this all by itself at Ulta last year, and prices are just too steep for the duo. I'll get my hands on it one day! Ultamate Holiday is just so dang delicate and pretty! A GREAT holiday polish indeed! A light gold glitter polish with holo glitter is so simple just so stunning at the same time! This is another very thirsty China Glaze glitter, so I had to use one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite. This is three coats.

Have a great Friday!

China Glaze - Winter Holly

Hey there!

I hope you're all having a good jump start to your week - yesterday was crazy busy at work! I REALLY hope today doesn't turn out to be a repeat.

Today I have a GREAT holiday glitter to share, Winter Holly from China Glaze's 2012 Holiday Joy collection. If there's one thing I've learned since getting into polish, it's that when China Glaze does green glitter, they do it RIGHT! So I moment I found out there was one in this collection, I knew it had to be mine! My swapping pal Ashlee threw this is with our last swap and it was LOVE at first sight! :p Winter Holly is a dense pine green glitter polish with a micro fine rainbow/holo glitter mixture swimming within. It just looks so freaking awesome! Now it DOES dry really gritty, so this is shown with two coats Gelous and one coat Seche Vite. Three coats.

Have a great Tuesday!

Milani - Crystal Blue

Hey there!

Sorry for the SUPER late post today. I've been working long days and I had to take my friend to the hospital last night when she had her baby. EXCITING! Welcome to the world, little baby Madison!

Today I have a great vintage Milani glitter polish to share that a lovely Twitter/Instagram pal sent my way, Crystal Blue. I really miss when Milani and Sinful had this round, chubby little bottles! I LOVE EM! Crystal Blue is a clear-based polish with micro light blue glitter and light blue holo bar glitter. So fun. This is two coats over China Glaze Blue Bells Ring.

Have a great night, girls!

BYS - Peppermint

TGIF!

Happy Friday, dolls! Anyone have anything fun planned this weekend? I'm working a few short shifts, putting up our Christmas tree, going to a football party. Christmas time is my favorite time of the year! Today I have another great BYS polish to share, Peppermint. The ever-so-amazing Lani sent me this one, and I LOVE IT! Is it supposed to smell like Peppermint? Hmmmm.... I didn't let it dry long enough while swatching, so I'm really not sure!

Peppermint is a sheer light green glitter polish with holo glitter swimming within. This is one of those strictly layering glitters, this is two coats over Fetish Sci-Fi. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I ADORE BYS glitters. I need them all. ALL!

Have a fun Friday!

BYS - Down The Rabbit Hole from The Wonderland Collection

Hello again!

I am totally in love with BYS. Seriously and completely. Their glitters are to DIE FOR. Their brush is easy as can be to work with, their formulas are perfect. Their polishes can be on the stinky side, but I'll take it and zip my mouth shut for glitters like this beaut! From the moment I laid eyes on BYS's Wonderland collection, I knew they all had to be mine. I finally have all 3 and for this polish I give a big thank you to Lauren! <3 You're the best, girl! You can check out my swatches of Through The Looking Glass HERE

Down The Rabbit Hole is soooo awesome! Smoky black jelly loaded with holo glitter?! YES, PLEASE! I love the depth you get with this polish, it looks like a little galaxy on my nails! Some of my pics are slightly blurry, I'm going to act sly and say it's to show off the holo goodness. :P This is three coats. LOVE! One of my all-time favorite scattered holos.

BYS, do the damn thing.
Last but not least I have Adventures Of Alice to share ;)

Maybelline Express Finish - Shooting Star

HI!

I love glitter. A LOT. I love layering glitter. A LOT. I love vintage polish. A LOT. Let's just roll those all together for today's post, shall we?

Maybelline Shooting Star was one of the very first vintage Maybelline glitters I bought over a year ago and I'm not sure why but I never swatched it until now! WWHHYY?!?! It's freaking amazing, man! It might be one of my all-time favorite glitters EVER actually! Shooting Star is a mixture of fine silver holo glitter and blue bar glitter. I cannot wait to ear this again! Two coats over China Glaze's Blk-Bila-Bong. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.

YES.
Are you in love too?!

Sally Hansen Color Fast - Glitterti

Hey, dolls!

I have SO MANY new vintage polishes to share in the coming weeks, I'm really excited for what I have in store! Today I have a Sally Hansen Color Fast polish to share, Glitterati. I found this gem on eBay and pounced on it! Gitterati is a sheer gold toned base polish loaded with gold and holo glitter. This is three coats over yesterdays polish, Pretty Serious Mummy Mush. I love how even though this polish is so sheer, it's tint completely changed the look! So festive!

Have a fantastic day!
