Pretty Serious Cosmetics - Emma Louise

WHAT UP, LADIES?!

I hope you're all having a good week! Today I'm only working eight ours (not my normal ten!) so I'll take what I can get! Today I have another polish from Pretty Serious to share, Emma Louise. Kaz named this polish after her pal Emma who designed this bad boy! $5 a bottle will go to Cancer Council NSW (Australia) after the LE 300 bottles are sold. Beautiful polish for a beautiful cause! OMG OMG OMG Emma Louise is so awesome! As of now there's still a few left - if you don't have it GO NOW!

This gem of a polish starts off with a purple sheer base, loaded with purple micro glitter, and thrown into the mix is green and purple hex glitter. I knew from the moment I saw promo pics I would be in love and I was RIGHT! Formula was sheer perfection, this is three thin coats.

Make sure to pick this gem up!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Pretty Serious - Creature Crush

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween is my second favorite holiday to Christmas, not only to I love this holiday, but it means Christmas is getting closer! Eeek! :D

Today I have the honor of swatching my first polish from Kaz's Pretty Serious Monster Mash line, Creature Crush. From the moment I laid eyes on this collection, I drooled all over the place and anxiously awaited their arrival. The new holographic boxes with new, fun artwork?! I die! It was nearly impossible to choose which one to swatch first, but I ended up choosing this dark, smoky bad boy.

Creature Crush is a great polish for Halloween! It starts off as deep smoky charcoal gray base that is sheer but beautifully build-able. The fine micro glitter is a delicate silver and gray mixture. Swimming within is larger holo hex glitter. I was able to get a few on the nail, but they were a little tricky. Formula was smooth as butter, like all other Pretty Serious polishes. This polish is FAB.

Have a safe Halloween, everybody!

**This polish was sent in exchange for my honest review**

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers unlabeled glitter!

Happy Sunday!

How do you make Milani Magical even more magical you may ask? Add awesome glitter of course! DUH! LOL :D

I love Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers. I sold some back when I had a blog sale  so I used to have more, but I cherish the ones I have and am always on the lookout for more! Today I have an unlabeled gem that Jacqui sent me a while back. I have the blue one as well that I post HERE a while back. I love the iridescent opal shimmer in this polish, it really added a nice sheen to Magical. Add large holo hex glitter and I'm a happy camper! This is two coats. I definitely had to move the hex glitter to the places I wanted the, but a small price to pay. :)

Have a great Sunday! <3

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Orly - Monster Mash

Hey there, girls!

I'll be popping up sporadically over the next few weeks. I just have so much going on right now with working over time and planning a wedding. I'll try my best to pop in and say hi when I can! :P

Today I have a polish that I received from my Secret Goblin, Katie. Holy COW did she hook me up with my gifts and goodies, but PLUS she's right here in Virginia just like me! When's our play-date, girl?! :D So here we go with Orly's Monster Mash. Man oh man I really wish that I had swatched this during the day in the sun. It's insane holo goodness doesn't translate all the way and the lime green goodness seems to turn to St. Patty's Day green. You just believe me - it's THERE! Monster Mash starts off as a murky green clear base loaded with large green hex holo glitter, and gold micro and bar glitter. It's freaking AWESOME! It was hard to get it opaque, this is four coats.

Anyone else get this green Halloween bad boy?

Essence Snow White Collection Part 3: The Huntsman, Snow White, & Bashful

Hi there!

It's time for day 3 of the Snow White Collection!

Today's glitter is definitely the unique one of the bunch - The Huntsman. It was very thick, but in no way unmanageable. There are a few things I just LOVE about this polish - it has two tones of gold in the glitter. The micro glitter is a darker gold then the hex glitter, which is lighter. Thrown is the mix are irregular rectangular/triangular shards of polish that make it the unique beauty it is. This is two coats over Snow White.

We all know how much I love red polish. It's my favorite right under green. I knew there was a red in this collection, but I didn't know it was a JELLY!!! Oh I still am so excited about this polish! Snow White is a vibrant tomato red polish that has a great tone for summer. Reds tend to look great with my skin tone (just sayin' LOL :P) and this one is no exception. Three coats, although next time I will wear it with two. I want the jellyness to shine through a little more.

Now. Here is my about FAVORITE polish in the entire stinking collection - Bashful. The promo pics for this collection were so misleading since they didn't show off any of the glitters or shimmers. Of course I knew there was a green, but what I DIDN'T know was it had gold shimmer!!! Formula was as perfect Sneezy. Like Buttah! Two coats. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

OMG. RIIIGHT?!
Only one day left!

Essence Snow White Collection Part 2: Prince Charming, Sleepy, & Sneezy

Hello again!

It's time for day two for Essence's Snow White Collection!

First up for today's post I have my favorite glitter topcoat from the collection, Prince Charming. The formula was the best with this one. I love the whimsical feel this polish lends to the mix, it definitively reminds me of Prince Charming for sure! This clear-based polish starts off with fine silver and holo glitter with large blue hex glitter. This is one coat over Sleepy.

And now we have Sleepy, a pastel blue polish with bright blue shimmer swimming within. I love the color, reminds me of Spring, but the formula was tough. Without the right base coat (I used Seche Base) It spotted like that new OPI polish. This is three coats for evenness.

SHIMMAH!
Next I have Sneezy, a fantastic cocoa brown polish with silver micro fine glitter. Formula was ON POINT. PERFECT. This polish reminds me of smooth milk chocolate. I really like this one. :)

Yummy!
Stay tuned for day 3!

Essence Snow White Collection Part 1: Evil Queen, Dopey, & Doc

Hey polish lovahs!

Today starts day one of four where I get to show off the entire Snow White Collection by Essence! It's been a long time as a vintage polish collector that I've fallen head over heels for a collection and gotten each and every polish. (Although HELLLLO Zoya Diva Collection! You will all be mine!) I'm one of the biggest Disney fans out there, so of course this was a must for me! The lovely and always amazing Sabine hunted down each and every one for me - I'm so thankful! *Sending Sabine a big virtual hug* Thanks again, girl!

First up for today I have a glitter to share - Evil Queen. Evil Queen is a clear-based polish with large purple hex glitter. I love the brushes on the glitters for all of them, one clean swoop has my nail covered. The glitter is a litter sparse on this one, I had to move the glitter around to place them where I wanted. I thought it turned out great! This is only one coat over Dopey- who's up next!

Dopey has been and will always remain as one of my favorite Disney characters to date! He's just so goofy and lovable. Dopey in this case is a pale, pastel lavender polish with silver micro glitter. I loved the formula on almost all of these, but this one seriously tested my patience. It was soooo runny! It pooled and took three coats to get it to where you see here. Not that it really matters - just LOOK how beautiful it is!

GLITTAH!
Next up I have Doc. I love me a good bright orange creme polish and this does not disappoint! The formula on this was great. I'm thinking pedicure color for sure! Two coats.

I hope you enjoyed day one - stay tuned for 2 through 4!

The Spooky Bones Company - Deep Space Fine

Hey there!

Today and tomorrow I have two polishes to share from the Etsy shop The Spooky Bones Company.  I've bought from Amanda in the past, and my transactions with her are nothing short of amazing! Fast shipping, great communication, and she included a free mini both times I ordered from her. My freebie this time around is Deep Space Fine. I LOVE how her current polish collections are based off of Star Trek. I grew up with a Trekie family indeed. Star Trek Deep Space Nine is my dad's all-time favorite series, and this polish really does it justice! Deep Space Fine starts off with a deep, dark purple base. Added in the mix is purple and blue hex glitter, micro glitter, and thin holo bar glitter. I love the effect of this polish, I just wish it had translated better to the nail. Deep Space look for sure! Two coats with one coat Gelous.

Deep Space indeed!

Nerd Lacquer - All Of Time And Space

Happy Thursday, fellow polish lovahs!

Today I have a really special polish to share, Nerd Lacquer's All Of Time And Space! I only have four other minis from Nerd Lacquer, and since I hear she has disappeared for now, I hope I one day can get some more! They always seemed to be sold out and I'm never fast enough. Anyhoo, onto the amazing polish at hand! I actually found All Of Time And Space from a blog sale, I'm one lucky girl indeed. This polish starts off with a shimmery sea-foam green polish with various silver, purple, & green micro and hex glitter. It reminds me of springtime. LOVED the formula, this is three thin coats. I need MOAR Nerd Lacquer polishes! Some day, Some day!

WHAT DO YA THINK?! ;)
