HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers - Once Upon A Time

Hey now!

I always look forward to Wet N Wild's tombstone Fantasy Makers polishes! They just have such character  All of the other ones were re-releases of last years colors, and although this is truthfully a re-lease of last Fall's Behind Closed Doors, I needed it just as much. The quality was much better with One Upon a Time, the glitter didn't settle on the bottom as it did with Behind Closed Doors. This is only one coat over China Glaze's Liquid Leather.

Anyone else snag this one?

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers unlabeled glitter!

Happy Sunday!

How do you make Milani Magical even more magical you may ask? Add awesome glitter of course! DUH! LOL :D

I love Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers. I sold some back when I had a blog sale  so I used to have more, but I cherish the ones I have and am always on the lookout for more! Today I have an unlabeled gem that Jacqui sent me a while back. I have the blue one as well that I post HERE a while back. I love the iridescent opal shimmer in this polish, it really added a nice sheen to Magical. Add large holo hex glitter and I'm a happy camper! This is two coats. I definitely had to move the hex glitter to the places I wanted the, but a small price to pay. :)

Have a great Sunday! <3

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers - Vamp Red

Monday, you suck. A lot.

I'm going to go with a vampy, dark polish to match my feelings for this day of the week LOL! Today I have a great blood red creme polish to share, Wet N Wild's Fantasy Makers Vamp Red. I believe this tomb stone polish came out a few years back, but I snagged it on a blog sale about a year back. I just adore these shaped bottles. Formula was pretty good, this is two coats.

Have a great day! .....stupid Monday....

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Retro Sunday Squared with The Scholarly Nail - Wet N Wild: Fantasy Makers

Hey, ladies!

It's officially my favorite time of the year - it's FALL! I love Fall more than anything. The smells outdoors, the scents that companies release, the clothing, the polish (DUH!), and Halloween! I think I'm going to be a Ghost-buster this year. Anyhoo, today marks the beginning of my month of nothing but Halloween polish - and what better way to kick it off then with a Retro Sunday Squared post with Jacqui?! Today we decided to share our older Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers polishes. I really thought I had way more then I do. Maybe I sold them on my blog sale or swapped them? Who knows.

First up I have Fiery to share. And fiery it IS! WOWZA! I totally forgot I had this one, I bought it in a blog sale about a year ago. It's molden, glowing, orange magic! I almost have no words to describe this polish, pictures really don't do it enough justice. Think CG Harvest Moon on steroids. My bottle is only about 1/2 full, and I really need a back up. Two coats. What a perfect fall orange!

Next up I have Black Ice. I really love these keep burgundy based polishes with green shimmer. Think Urban Decay Bruise. There's just so much dimension with these types of polish, they have vampy yet mysterious feel. Black Ice is a shade that Wet N Wild released a couple times I believe but this is the only version that I own. Formula was pretty thin, this is two coats.

Don't forget to check out Jacqui's blog!

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers in Black Magic and pumpkin moon glitter

Happy Sunday, ladies!

Keeping the theme running by doing - yes, you guessed it! - another Wet N Wild Fantasy Maker and pumpkin glitter combo! What can I say - they're a match made in Halloween Heaven! Today I have one of this years Fantasy Makers, Black Magic and a holographic moon glitter pumpkin polish. :) Makes for a fun mani!

Black Magic is a black jelly polish with a mixture of gold, copper, and green(ish) shimmer. Look familiar? Black Magic is a toned-down version of Black Mail. Not that I'm complaining, I love Black Mail, just not very original. :/ Ah well! Application was good, two coats were needed. Oh, and I'm a sucker for the tombstone cap. :P

I won't lie to you - I have complaints and I have positives with this pumpkin polish. The good? It's so unique! I mean holo moon glitter? SOLD! Always fun adding a first to your stash! The bad? Application was a pain in my BUTT! It took so many tries getting the moon glitter out. Very aggravating. So much work for a great payoff. So I'll call it a toss up!

I bought my Fantasy Maker at Ulta for $1.99 and my pumpking glitter at RiteAid for $1.99

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Purple Potion & True Color Flormar holo glitter

Hello there everyone!

Happy Saturday! Today I'm pairing Purple Potion with an amazing little glitter that my lovely friend Amanda sent me for my birthday! (She's spoiled me!) Enjoy!

Purple Potion is the classic black Wet N Wild creme swimming with fuchsia glitter. Does it looks familiar? Once again with this year's collection, Wet N Wild toned down an already existing polish - this time it was Night Prowl. The formula was the same as always with Wet N Wild's cremes but man the brush SUCKED! It was scraggly and almost unmanageable. Ah well!

This is my first experience with True Color's Flormar glitters - I love trying new polish brands! a clear light pink base, this beauty is loaded with holo glitter and this is two coats!

I bought my Fantasy Maker at Walgreens for $1.99

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Passionate Purple

Can't you just smell the Halloween in the air? :p I can - maybe it has something to do with my ever-growing Fantasy Makers collection! hehe..I've been addicted lately! This older FM was sent to me by my wonderous friend Amanda for my birthday - yes, she IS the best! :)

Passionate purple is one of the older Fantasy Makers, not sure exactly what year. It looks much more opaque in the bottle, because MAN this puppy is SO sheer! This is five coats. FIVE! It looks like a grape popsicle or lollipop to me:) so I'm pleased with how it turned out, just don't know if I have to patience for five coats every time. :/ Layering perhaps?

In case you haven't noticed - I've become quite obsessed with collecting Fantasy Makers. THANKS AMANDA!

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers in Black with orange pumpkin glitter

They there!

This morning I have to show to you another great older Fantasy Maker:) This time it's an adorable mini polish! It has the newer Fantasy Makers logo, but I'm not sure how long ago this cutie came out. It's a chubby tiny bottle with a tiny ball lid. In true Fantasy Makers form, it's a great black creme.

Me being a big fan of Wet N Wild's black creme polish formula, I was instantly in love. What I wasn't in love with the stubby brush the came with this mini bottle. This could have easily been a one-coater, but I always been one to do two just in case. I still love with it though - I'm a sucker for mini things! :P

This great glitter is my FAVORITE of all the pumpkin glitters I bought. This was only ONE coat - ONE! It's a clear base with gorgeous chunky orange glitter. I was so happy that one coat applied this much glitter. I love it!

I bought my mini Fantasy Maker on Amazon and pumpkin glitter can be purchased at RiteAid for $1.99/bottle

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers in Nightscape with pumpkin silver & black glitter

Time for Halloween week on Polished Claws Up!

I've been saving up my wonderful Halloween polishes for ghoulish manicures! There's been so many great polishes that have come out this year, but I've also had so much fun hunting down the older Fantasy Makers too, and this color was worth the investment from Amazon! Here is Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers in Nightscape! :)

Nightscape is an AMAZING blue-toned silver chrome polish. I wasn't sure what year this came out, but it had the old Fantasy Makers logo with the holographic white lid. Application was a little on the thin side, but two coats even it out perfectly. I have the biggest soft spot for chromes, and Nightscape has found a permanent place in my heart.

I also had picked up a few of the pumpkin glitters that have been popping up lately. They don't have names, so this one I'll just call Silver & Black glitter. Application was a little sparse, and this is two coats over Nightscape. I thought they paired together very well!

I bought Nightscape on Amazon, and the pumpkin glitters can be found at RiteAid for $1.99/bottle
