HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers - Once Upon A Time

Hey now!

I always look forward to Wet N Wild's tombstone Fantasy Makers polishes! They just have such character  All of the other ones were re-releases of last years colors, and although this is truthfully a re-lease of last Fall's Behind Closed Doors, I needed it just as much. The quality was much better with One Upon a Time, the glitter didn't settle on the bottom as it did with Behind Closed Doors. This is only one coat over China Glaze's Liquid Leather.

Anyone else snag this one?

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers unlabeled glitter!

Happy Sunday!

How do you make Milani Magical even more magical you may ask? Add awesome glitter of course! DUH! LOL :D

I love Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers. I sold some back when I had a blog sale  so I used to have more, but I cherish the ones I have and am always on the lookout for more! Today I have an unlabeled gem that Jacqui sent me a while back. I have the blue one as well that I post HERE a while back. I love the iridescent opal shimmer in this polish, it really added a nice sheen to Magical. Add large holo hex glitter and I'm a happy camper! This is two coats. I definitely had to move the hex glitter to the places I wanted the, but a small price to pay. :)

Have a great Sunday! <3

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Megalast Root Of All Evil

Happy Hump Day!

Today I have the final polish that I picked from from Wet N Wild Megalast's Halloween Pick Your Poison collection - Root Of All Evil. I LOVE this polishes I picked up from this collection! Wet N Wild is just a great cosmetics brand all around to me, and their LE collections tend to really wow me. Root Of All Evil is a fantastic, vibrant metallic deepened cobalt blue stunner. As I know I said before, I really love these thick Megalast brushes, the apply onto my nails like a dream. Formula was just as great as the last two. Two coats.

Have a great day!

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Megalast - Toxic Apple AKA dupe for OPI Russian Navy

TGIF!

Wet N Wild tends to rock at LE collections. I loved their Mermaid's Cove collection in Summer 2011, On The Prowl in Fall 2011, and they've really hit a home run with this fall's Megalast Pick Your Poison collection. Today I have Toxic Apple to share, a dupe for OPI's Russian Navy. I just COULD NOT find my bottle! Of course I'll find it right after I post this. *pouts*

Toxic Apple is a purple/blue shimmer polish that is deep, vampy, and delicious! I loved Russion Navy and now I love this as much! As I said before, I love this brushes, and I loved the formula. Two coats.

Have a great Friday!

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers - Vamp Red

Monday, you suck. A lot.

I'm going to go with a vampy, dark polish to match my feelings for this day of the week LOL! Today I have a great blood red creme polish to share, Wet N Wild's Fantasy Makers Vamp Red. I believe this tomb stone polish came out a few years back, but I snagged it on a blog sale about a year back. I just adore these shaped bottles. Formula was pretty good, this is two coats.

Have a great day! .....stupid Monday....

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Wet N Wild Megalast - Poison Ivy

TGIF!

Happy Happy Joy Joy! It's Friday! I have a great weekend planned with the fiance this weekend so this weekend couldn't have gotten here faster! I recently came across Wet N Wild's new Megalast Halloween display, Pick Your Poison. I got the polish I have to show you today and also the deep sapphire blue one, but now I'm seriously regretting not getting the vampy red and purple too!

Today I have Poison Ivy. (Uma Thurman pops into my head every time! LOL!) OH. MY. GAWD. I'm in freaking LOVE with this polish! My love for green polish knows so bounds, but make it a deep blackened emerald shimmer like THIS?! I die. BEAUTIFUL. Not everyone likes the brushes on these polishes, but I love them. They're kind of paddle-like and wide. This is two coats. Just amazing.

Have you picked up any from this collection yet?

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Retro Sunday Squared with The Scholarly Nail - Wet N Wild: Fantasy Makers

Hey, ladies!

It's officially my favorite time of the year - it's FALL! I love Fall more than anything. The smells outdoors, the scents that companies release, the clothing, the polish (DUH!), and Halloween! I think I'm going to be a Ghost-buster this year. Anyhoo, today marks the beginning of my month of nothing but Halloween polish - and what better way to kick it off then with a Retro Sunday Squared post with Jacqui?! Today we decided to share our older Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers polishes. I really thought I had way more then I do. Maybe I sold them on my blog sale or swapped them? Who knows.

First up I have Fiery to share. And fiery it IS! WOWZA! I totally forgot I had this one, I bought it in a blog sale about a year ago. It's molden, glowing, orange magic! I almost have no words to describe this polish, pictures really don't do it enough justice. Think CG Harvest Moon on steroids. My bottle is only about 1/2 full, and I really need a back up. Two coats. What a perfect fall orange!

Next up I have Black Ice. I really love these keep burgundy based polishes with green shimmer. Think Urban Decay Bruise. There's just so much dimension with these types of polish, they have vampy yet mysterious feel. Black Ice is a shade that Wet N Wild released a couple times I believe but this is the only version that I own. Formula was pretty thin, this is two coats.

Don't forget to check out Jacqui's blog!

Vintage Wet N Wild glitters!

Why hello again!

I'm going to make this post quick just because I'm running a little behind. If you know me you know my love for glitter! Make it vintage and Wet N Wild (one of my favorite cosmetics brands all-around!) and I'm a sucker! Today I have two to share that I paired with Tuesday's Essence Snow White polishes, Happy and Grumpy.

First up I have an old Fantasy Makers glitter, Green Glam. I scored this at my usual thrift store. I LOVE unique Fantasy Makers polishes, and I love green glitter! Age made this polish watery and hard to control the glitter, which was a little disappointing. It adds a subtle sparkle to Happy, even though this is THREE coats.

Next up I have E=MC2, my definite favorite of today's two glitters! This lime green glitter comes from their long discontinued Nail Zone line. I scored a hand-full of these at a local dollar store a while back. It was pretty impressively dense, the micro-fine glitter added almost a shimmering sheen to it. I LOVE it layered over grumpy! :)

Enjoy your day!

Old and New - Nail Fetish Alien & Wet N Wild Chrome Grew Up In Cobalt-imore

Why HELLO THERE!!!

Today is yes, that's right, another Old and New post! I have two great polishes to share today, up first I have one of my MANY Nail Fetish polishes. These polishes are very special to me and dear to my heart since I owned quite a few as a tween-ager. Their polish embodies that 90's, an era I love with a passion to this day. Today I have Alien to share, one of my favorites from Nail Fetish for SURE! Alien is a vibrant in-your-face medium green polish with a slight frostiness to it. It's green polish greatness. Two coats, nice and smooth.

Next up I have one of Wet N Wilds new Chrome polishes, Grew Up In Cobalt-imore. I had been on the search for this display, but the only one I found was really, really picked over. I ended up only getting this one, and I thought this price was pretty steep for Wet N Wild - $3.99. They're prices for LE's have really been going up..... anyhoo. Formula was FANTASTIC! This is one coat. ONE! Formula was smooth as can be. I love this vibrant cobalt blue metallic very much!

What do ya think?

Old and New - Wet 'n' Wild Precious Metals Lilac Metal & China Glaze Electric Pineapple

Good Morning!

I hope every is having a good week, I'm in the middle of working twelve days in a row, so thank goodness I swatched fifteen polishes the other day to have all of these posts ready. Today I have a really fun vintage Wet 'n' Wild to share with you - a Precious Metals! I found this forgotten beauty at my usual thrift store for I think two bucks. Lilac Metal is a really stunning Spring polish (in my opinion) and the formula really held up after all these years. This is three thin coats, and it dried so fast!

Next up for the new section I have a China Glaze to share - Electric Pineapple from Last Years Island Escape collection. I've had this polish since then and never swatched it until now. And now I know why. This polish just kind of makes me go "Eh." I know it's a dupe for OPI's Fiercely Fiona (which I have the mini for) and I feel the same for that polish as well. It's a pretty color that does nothing for me, plain and simple. Maybe a pedicure color? I'll try it out. Patchy formula as with most cremes of this nature. Three coats for evenness.

Are there those colors for you that are just "blah"?
