Layering Fun: Revlon Top Speed Celestial FX & Sally Hansen New Lengths Mosaic Creme

Hey there, dolls!

Today's my day off, so I thought I'd actually post today LOL! I'm trying really hard to get back into the swing of things by posting every other day now. I miss the days that I could post everyday, but like just won't allow that right now. *sigh* Oh the life of a blogger. I feel like I've been out of the loop with the polish community for so long.

Anyhoo, today I have a layering combo to share that shows off one vintage polish and one brand new polish that just came out! Revlon, as you know, is one of my favorite brands EVER. Between StreetWear and their overall amazing-ness, that steal my heart over and over again. Today I have one of their new Top Speed glitters to share (which are now CORE! Yippee!) Celestial Fx. I love the concept of this polish! Silver micro-fine holo glitter with large star, moon, & diamonds. They were quite the pain in my you-know-what to fish out. This is one coat over Sally Hansen Mosaic Creme, up next!

Next up I have the undies of the manicure to share, Mosaic Creme. OMG I've been lemming after this polish for so long, and I was so happy to snag it from a blog sale. Mosaic Creme is a dusty slate blue/gray creme polish that has a stone cool feel to it. I don't know why but I adore this polish. So much. This is two coats.

Have a great Thursday!

The Spooky Bones Company- Strange Polish - 7 of 9

ALLO!

Today is day two of The Spooky Bones Company's Star Trek polishes that I purchased. Star Trek: Voyager is hands down, bar-none my favorite Star Trek EVER! Seven of Nine is a charactor on the show that was born human, assimilated by and raised by the Borg until she was freed and joined the crew of Voyager. She's sexy and hilarious in my opinion. Do the damn thing, Jeri Ryan.

Onto the polish! 7 of 9 is an amazingly beautiful pain-in-my-butt polish. I think I need one more go with the polish to get it 100% right. Anyhoo, the bottle brush is really long and glops of polish keep creeping onto the nail. The base of the polish is a really gorgeous iridescent pearl shimmer. Added is micro-fine and small holo glitter, blue and white moons, and black, blue, and green stars. The moons and stars were hard to lay down so they just kind of stuck up. I say who cares when it looks so nice? It does glow it the dark but alas, I couldn't capture it in pictures. Two coats over two coats Revlon Dreamer.

Fun, right?
Anyone else a Trekie? :)

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers in Black Magic and pumpkin moon glitter

Happy Sunday, ladies!

Keeping the theme running by doing - yes, you guessed it! - another Wet N Wild Fantasy Maker and pumpkin glitter combo! What can I say - they're a match made in Halloween Heaven! Today I have one of this years Fantasy Makers, Black Magic and a holographic moon glitter pumpkin polish. :) Makes for a fun mani!

Black Magic is a black jelly polish with a mixture of gold, copper, and green(ish) shimmer. Look familiar? Black Magic is a toned-down version of Black Mail. Not that I'm complaining, I love Black Mail, just not very original. :/ Ah well! Application was good, two coats were needed. Oh, and I'm a sucker for the tombstone cap. :P

I won't lie to you - I have complaints and I have positives with this pumpkin polish. The good? It's so unique! I mean holo moon glitter? SOLD! Always fun adding a first to your stash! The bad? Application was a pain in my BUTT! It took so many tries getting the moon glitter out. Very aggravating. So much work for a great payoff. So I'll call it a toss up!

I bought my Fantasy Maker at Ulta for $1.99 and my pumpking glitter at RiteAid for $1.99
