Etude House - BL505

It's finally Saturday! 

Today's polish is one that I've had sitting in my Helmer untried for MONTHS. I mean MONTHS. The lovely Radha sent me this beauty over the winter and up until recently I completely forgot I had it! MAN was I missing out on this glass-flecked magic in a bottle! Etude House's BL505 starts off as a bright cobalt blue jelly with multi-chrome glass flecks that flash from blue to purple to pink. They look amazing, I just wish the color shift would translate to the nail. That seems to happen with quite a few polishes. None-the-less, it's still amazing (I'm wearing it now!) and the formula was nice to work with. This is three coats.

Barry M Aqua Green & OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow

Hey girlies!

I am soooooo excited and proud to show you my new layering genius! I love the overwhelming surprise when you realize that what looked like a relatively pretty polish in the bottle turns out to be a drool worthy stunner! That's exactly what happened when I purchased a few polishes grouped together in a blog sale. I had never tried Barry M polishes before, and it was included with two Wet N Wild vintage polishes. I could tell the polish was older - everything on outside of the bottle was worn off - and there was a handwritten sticker on the bottom that simply stated "Aqua Green". Whether or not that's really this puppy's name - once I layered it over a dark polish, I couldn't believe my eyes!

I don't know where to start other than WOWZA!!! I mean, JUST LOOK AT IT! This pearl finished duochrome flashes from a seafoam green, bright lime green, and a light blue. In some light it even flashes purple! I tried my hardest to capture all the colors in different kinds of lights but pictures just don't do this baby justice! In person I couldn't stop staring at my nails. AMAZING! I was drooling! :P This was two coats.

Underneath all this is three coats of OPI's Here Today Aragon Tomorrow, a deep, dark green  creme/jelly polish. I'm a sucker for green polishes, they are amoung my favorites! Make it was vampy green polish and I'm all for it! After finally getting this lovely on my nails, I couldn't remember what took me so long to get it on my fingertips in the first place! :)

OPI - Movin Out with Revlon Plum Night

What's up, dolls?

Ready for some multichrome goodness? Of course you are! Hold on to your seat, it's going to get mind-blowing! After a long, long, long lemming, I finally got it at my much mentioned swap and meet-up from my lovely friend Jacqui from Scholarly Nails. IT'S MOVIN OUT!!! I could not BELIEVE it was mine that I literally just stared and stared at it! Let me show you why! :D *SQUEE!*

I KNOW, RIGHT?!?! It's so stunning it's hard to put it into words! Pink multichrome? Rainbow? Shimmer? Yes, yes, and yes! The layering possibilities are endless as well, this is over two coats of Revlon's Plum Night, but I've also seen it layered over Revlon's Royal on other blogs and am DYING to try it out! It's almost too distracting in the sun, I can't pay attention to anything else! :D This was two coats.
