Maybelline Express Finish - Fuchsia Fling

TGIF!

Sorry this post is really late! It's snowing here in Virginia Beach AKA pandemonium has taken over and people don't know what to do! Myself being from Cleveland, this ain't nothin'! I'm snuggling up for the night with my DVR and finally taking some time to swatch for the first time in weeks!

Today I have another Maybelline vintage gold cap polish to share - Fuchsia Fling. It's just so freaking awesome! The base is a sheer fuchsia base LOADED with shards of fuchsia and a very minute amount of silver glitter. It's so stunning! It actually wore REALLY REALLY well! I wore it four days with minimal chipping/tip wear. This is three coats.

Everyone be safe out in the snow!

Maybelline Express Finish Glitter - Far Out Fuchsia

 Hey girls!

Today is going to be a quicky post, I'm still on vacation back home in Ohio and I have a beautiful day planned with Melt with my bro and dusty hunting with Jacqui! What a rough day, indeed! LOL! My quick NOTD from last week I have to share is one of my beloved Maybelline Express Finish Glitters, Far Out Fuchsia. WOWZA. If you love a vibrant in-your-face pink glitter, this polish was made for you! These glitters are all so amazing and on my wish list for a reason - they really pack a glitter punch! Far Out Fuchsia starts off with a bright magenta base, LOADED with fuchsia glitter. Glides on smooth, this is two beautiful coats. The way this shines leaves me almost speechless. O_O No other words needed! Enjoy drooling... :P

Yep. Soak it all in.

My Nail Graffiti Fairy Frightening

TGIF!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful morning! Today I have another My Nail Graffiti to share, Fairy Frightening! As I know I said before, Amber runs the blog and her hubby actually makes these wonderful frankens. And, just to note, she said in her blog that he made this lovely before Facets of Fuchsia came out. :p

Fairy Frightening is a deep plum jelly polish with micro-fine blue and magenta shimmer and large magenta hex-glitters scattered. The formula was pretty good and and all polish with larger glitter, they tend to float to the bottom and make it hard to get them from brush to nail. I managed to shake the bottle and get a few out though. I love the uniqueness of Fairy Frightening, I only see very basic similarities with Facets, so don't worry Amber's hubby! :) This is two coats.

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Purple Potion & True Color Flormar holo glitter

Hello there everyone!

Happy Saturday! Today I'm pairing Purple Potion with an amazing little glitter that my lovely friend Amanda sent me for my birthday! (She's spoiled me!) Enjoy!

Purple Potion is the classic black Wet N Wild creme swimming with fuchsia glitter. Does it looks familiar? Once again with this year's collection, Wet N Wild toned down an already existing polish - this time it was Night Prowl. The formula was the same as always with Wet N Wild's cremes but man the brush SUCKED! It was scraggly and almost unmanageable. Ah well!

This is my first experience with True Color's Flormar glitters - I love trying new polish brands! a clear light pink base, this beauty is loaded with holo glitter and this is two coats!

I bought my Fantasy Maker at Walgreens for $1.99

Revlon Expressionist Collection - Facets of Fuchsia

Good Morning, Ladies!

Today I have one of the three glitter polishes I have from the new Fall 2011 Revlon Expressionist Collection, Facets of Fuscia! I saw this collection on Twitter & other blogs, and KNEW I had to have them! They are sold exclusively (I believe?) at Target. Since mine didn't have them yet, my amazing friend Rie sent them to me. :D

Facets of Fuscia is a black jelly polish with hexagon-shaped fuscia (you guessed it!) glitter and fine fucshia glitter as well. The only thing that's tricky with this polish is letting the polish dry between coats (I used 3) so that the glitter doesn't move around. It's tricky to get the hexagon glitter where you want it! Next time I'll need to take my time a little more. :)

Here's some darker and lighter shots to help show you the density of the polish -->

I can't wait to try the rest of my glitters from the Expressionist Collection! I've read on many, many blogs that Facets of Fuchsia is a DEAD ON DUPE for Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance. $3.75 vs. $18??? No brainer!
