Revlon StreetWear - Forest

Hello there, polish lovers!

We all know what one of the BEST feelings can be for a polish addict/collector - CHECKING ONE OFF THE WISH LIST OF COURSE! My lovely Instagram pal and swapping buddy Ashley made my week by sending me Forest!

StreetWear's Forest is one of the greens that has been HAUNTING me to own! I love green - make it a shimmery, smooth forest green and I'm grinning ear to ear! Prices on eBay were always just to steep for me, so thank you, doll! In my opinion, this is a PERFECT Christmas green indeed! This is two coats.

Anyone else lovin' Forest?

HALLOWEEN MONTH! Re-swatch: Revlon StreetWear Nightmare

Hi there!

Today I decided I wanted to re-swatch one of my favorite Halloween polishes, Revlon StreetWear Nightmare. I had first swatched it here, but I thought I'd give it another go for the love of Halloween!

I love StreetWears Halloween glitters, Costume Party still ranks high on my wishlist! Nightmare is a clear base polish loaded with small black glitter and holo bar glitter. The layering possibilities are seriously endless. I LOVE this glitter! This is two coats over yesterday's Root Of All Evil. :) I ADORE this look!

Have a great day, ladies!

Revlon StreetWear - Jewels

Hello there!

*Sigh* These pics are the last I have with nails at what I think is a great length on me. Right after I shot these, I had a nasty break stacking boxes to move and now I have nubbies. Ah well, they grow quick. *Woes of a nail blogger - LOL!*

Moving right along to the polish, I have a FANTASTIC Revlon StreetWear glitter to share, Jewels. Sometimes I get lucky and find cheap gems on eBay, and this is an example of that! Five bucks WITH shipping. What a deal I tell ya! Jewels is a clear-based polish LOOOOOADED with pearly, iridescent glitter - micro and hex. In that bottle it looks whimsical, on the nail?! WHAM! It takes on colors of orange and green to make the ultimate fall glitter! This is two coats over OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest. LOVE this combo. I'm so ready for fall!

Awesome.
Have a great Saturday!

Old and New - Revlon Streetwear Burnt & Color Club Volt Of Light

Happy Saturday!

Do any of you have a love for ugly polishes? No, not ugly as in if you hate frosts you think all frosts are ugly. I mean polishes that are truly ugly in color but tickle your fancy so much they become downright beautiful? This is how Burnt is! O-M-G I am soooooo in love with this damn polish. I wish I were wearing it now. (Sorry, CND Pulse.) It reminds me of creamy butterscotch in fatigues. Weird, I know. It's just what comes to mind! It's officially of of my all-time favorite polishes - EVER! Two smooth coats.

Next up I have Volt Of Light from Color Club's Electro Candy collection. I totally skipped China Glaze's neon collection because I have just bought this pack at Ross. I LOVE this neons with their bright shimmer so much! Alas, they do chip in a quick minute with me. :/ I LOVE the green shimmer swimming within it's bright yellow goodness. Great summer shade.

Have a great Saturday!

Halloween In July! Revlon Streetwear Oct 31st

TGIF!

Today I decided that it's Halloween in July! I recently came across one of the rarest Streetwears out there - Oct 31st - for only 99 cents at my favorite thrift store. My eyes popped out of my skull and my jaw hit the floor. It was like a dream LOL! I still actually can't believe it's mine!!! :D Oct 31st is a clear-based polish with small black glitter and vibrant orange small and bar glitter that makes for one glowing glitter. Halloween in a bottle! UGH I LOVE IT! This is two coats (formula was pretty dense) over A-England's Avalon. I think it would be great over black or a vibrant green as well.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN IN JULY!

Old and New - Revlon StreetWear Blood & Wet N Wild It's Not You, It's Me

Hey dolls!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I worked, went to a cookout, and watched hours and hour of American Pickers (my guilty pleasure). All in all, a nice summer's weekend. Today I have an Old and New post to share, and the old polish for today is my most recent Revlon StreetWear polish - Blood from the amazing Jacqui. I'm a vampy polish fiend, and make it a blood red polish with shimmer?! SOLD. Blood is so dang sexy. Rawr! :D Two coats.

Next up I have a polish from a new Wet N Wild display I found at my work (CVS). I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW. Crackle is dead. Here's the thing though - I think it's been long enough that I've found myself falling in love with it again. I had always wanted OPI Red Shatter, so when I came across It's Not You, It's Me, I was giddy to get a red shatter for $2.99. I love the way it shattered as well, I might need to grab a few more! This is one coat over Chanel Peridot. Make fun all you want, shatter is cool to me again.

Hope your Monday goes well! <3

Old and New - Revlon StreetWear Ggold Mmine & Confetti Bayou Blue

Hey there!

I hope you're all having a great weekend and today is no exception! Today is another Old and New post, and I'm starting off with a StreetWear. Oh, old duochromes, your color shifts are so pretty but your brushstrokes are not! This is Ggold Mmine. Great color, shifting from olive green to a bright gold, it's really fascinating and in person the shift is so apparent! Alas, this vintage beauty is just impossible to apply without the streaks. I still love it though, it has that Peridot-like feel that is popular right now. Not to mention I'm a duochrome nut. This is two coats.

Next up I have a Confetti polish, Bayou Blue. I LOVE everything New Orleans and Baton Rouge, have ever since I was a little girl. As polish lovers, we all know we buy polish sometimes just for the names LOL! So, yes, I was suckered into buying this smurf-blue creme polish. I really enjoy Confetti polish for a low cost polish brand, and this polish applied evenly after two coats.

Have a relaxing day! :)

Layering Fun - Revlon StreetWear Nightmare & Sinful Colors Citrine

We meet again!

I'm in the middle of one heck of a StreetWear streak. Been coming across so many amazing glitters, can't share them quick enough! :D Today I have a glitter that topped my StreetWear wish list, Nightmare. Take my beloved bar glitter, make it holo, and add tiny black glitter to the mix? *drools* Oh I am the luckiest girl in the world! Thank you eBay!!! I wanted to do Nightmare justice by it's name, so I thought a vibrant orange would be the way to go. I love the end result so much. Two coats over Sinful Colors Citrine. Kinda like Halloween on my nails!

Aaaaawwww yea!

Under the glitter is Sinful Colors Citrine from their new Wow! Pop! collection. I knew I needed this polish for two reasons. Number one, I'm a comic book geek so the display drew me in from the get-go. Second, it's a dupe for Sephora + Patone's Tangerine Tango, as you can see here. Sinful really impressed me with their formula in this one, this is two smooth coats.

Have a great day!

Revlon StreetWear - Time Machine

Hello there!

Today I have one heck of a special polish to share! StreetWear glitters are at the tippy-top of my wishlist and when I can find them for less than an arm and a leg, I jump for joy for at least an hour. For today's polish, Time Machine, I jumped for two. :D Time Machine is a clear-based polish loaded with fine lime green glitter. AWESOME!!!! This is three coats. AAGGHH!! LOVE!

Isn't it awesome!
