Sephora by OPI - Rumba Romance

Good morning!

I've been shopping in my stash a lot lately and trying (.....trying...kind of failing....) not to buy as much. In my OPI Helmer drawer I found this copper/gold beauty and remembered buying it right before I moved from Cleveland. I immediately remembered reading raves reviews on Rumba Romance and just to finally swatched it. OMG. OMG. OMG. This baby GLOWS. I MEAN GLOWS! This was supposed to be the first polish I swatched but I loved it so dang much that I put off my swatch-a-thon for two days so I could stare at it in the sun. In the words of Jacqui, it's amazeballs! This is three coats. Totally worth every stinkin one. :D

Layering Fun - China Glaze Rosita & Sephora by OPI To The Glitter End!

Oh, Monday. You suck for sneaking up on me. I wasn't ready for you yet.

This weekend flew by! I didn't get very much done, just a lot of relaxing with Jeff around the house. I swatched, I read, and I watched TV. All in all, I didn't want it to ever end! Onto the polish. I'm just having such a blast with my Layering Fun posts. Mixing up old and new polishes in creative ways is such a fun thing for me to do. I LOVE it! The exciting glitter I have to share today came to me from Canada from my lovely blogger friend Lindsay over at Polish & Diamonds - To The Glitter End! I don't own very many Sephora by OPI polishes, and I was excited to try a glitter of theirs. To The Glitter End! Is a clear based polish with charcoal grey metallic hex glitter. Oh the layering possibilities! This is one coat.

Layered underneath is one of my many vintage China Glaze polishes - Rosita. Rosita is a bubblegum pink polish with matching pink shimmer. This is two coats.

Sephora by OPI- 212

Happy Sunday, polish addicts!


Today I have a polish that I've been lemming for forever and never thought I'd actually get my hands on - Sephora by OPI's 212. EVERY TIME I tried to buy it in store the spot was empty and every time I tried to order it online it was sold out. The polish Gods smiled upon me my last trip home to Ohio and during my meet-up with Jacqui and Krista, low and behold - it was in stock! Looking back I really should have grabbed a back-up as well. *Kicks myself* Ah well, at long last it is finally mine! *maniacal laughter ring in the air* I forgot to get a macro-shot of this beauty, but the swatches speak for themselves. :)

212 was originally only available in Sephora's in NYC. Thanks goodness the rest of us can get lucky enough to get our hands on it now! There is just so much going on in 212. It starts off with a dark brown almost black jelly base. Then it is JAM PACKED with a gold shimmer. After that, holo micro-glitter and flakies flashing from yellow to orange to green are added. The result is truly amazing! So much depth to this bad boy. The formula was prety great as well, this is two coats. I've never really been a fan of Sephora by OPI polishes in the past, but lately they're been really growing on me.
