Old and New - Milani Iris Ice & Essie Sew Psyched

Good Morning!

Today is another Old and New post, and for the old post I have my very FIRST vintage Milani with the old bottle shape. (Think old Sinful bottle.) This was gifted to me as a surprise by a lovely Twitter pal and I couldn't believe my big brown eyes! Iris Ice is a clear slightly tinted lavender based polish with micro-fine lilac glitter. It's freakin wonderful. I mean, come on! LOOK AT IT! This is three coats over Pretty Serious's Forbidden Fruit. Such a whimsical feel, LOVE!

For my New section I have one of my all-time favorite Essie's that I own to date, Sew Psyched. Classic dirty army green polish with hidden shimmer? YES PLEASE! Classic smooth Essie formula, two coats.

Have a great day!

Old and New - Maybelline Ultra Lasting Racing Green & Essence Fairytale's Tinka's Dress

Happy Hump Day!

Today I have yet another Old and New post to share and I'm starting out with a great one indeed! I normally try keep my spending low on eBay for Maybelline's, but I couldn't resist when I saw Racing Green from a UK seller. I am almost embarrassed how cheap I got the polish and how much more shipping was. *blushes* Moving right along... IT WAS WORTH IT! We all know my green polish obsession knows no bounds, and I melted when I swatched this beauty. Deep, shimmery, rich army green and almost a one coater! I went with two of course, and topcoat. LOVE!!!!!!

Next up I have a polish from Essence's Fairytale collection, Tinka's Dress. As an adult I still have a big love for all things Fairytale. (Shrek and Disney own my heart.) Tinka's Dress is a shimmery pinky/peach polish that I really enjoy with my skin-tone! This is three thin coats.

Have a great day!

Old and New - Ruby Kisses Forest Green & MUA shade 1

Hey now!

I'm eating almost an entire bag of Sour Patch Jelly Beans as I type my posts for the week. These things are addictive and delicious. If you haven't tried them yet - you MUST! Anyhoo, one of the polish brands I'm crazy into right now is vintage Ruby Kisses polish. I blame Kaz, her bottle shots had me drooling and scouring eBay. (Her whole blog is a giant lemming for me. :P) The first I nabbed was Forest Green, muted olive/army green frosty shimmer polish. It applied rather thin so I applied three coats here.

Next up I have another MUA polish from my previous swap with Esther. These little bottles really pack a punch and Shade 1 is real proof of that! A deep sapphire blue base with blue and slight silver glitter and shimmer. It's so glowing and lovely! The formula was pretty good, this is two coats. LOVE!

Ooo la la!
Take care, loves!-D

Old and New - Vintage Avon Nocturnal & Essence Multi Dimension XXXL Shine Just Shout!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm very, very pumped about the Old polish in today's post. I found this gem at a thrift store for 99 cents. I couldn't find any info online about this polish. Low and behold, the lovely Kaz of Pretty Random shot me a link on Twitter of her swatches and info on the line that you can read here. Now I just need the rest! :P

Nocturnal is a great polish, shimmery army/olive green. I love the gold shimmer woven throughout! It's just beautiful! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! As I said before, I must find the entire collection now. It is my goal. :D This is three thin coats.

Next up I have an Essence polish! Living in the states, we get SUCH a limited selection of Essence polishes, which is a shame since I really adore their polishes! I have found that the easiest ways to get your hands on them is through swapping or blog sales. This one is from a blog sale.

Just shout! is a bright coral/pink polish, one that I think will be perfect this summer for pedicures for sure. Smooth Essence formula, two coat.

Zoya - Dree from the Smoke Collection

Good Mornin!

Today I have for you one of the polishes from the Zoya collection this fall. They came out with two sets of polishes, Smokes (cremes) and Mirrors (shimmers). I have a few from each, and this one is Dree from the Smoke side!
When I first saw the promos for the fall lines coming out, I knew I really wanted a nice fall green polish! I was torn between Dree and Westside Warrior from the China Glaze Metro collection. Then Zoya had their Buy 1, Get 2 free offer and I couldn't pass it up! And I don't regret it one bit! Two coats was all Dree needed and I was left with an awesome olive/army green creme that cured my lemming!
Zoya polishes can be purchased at www.zoya.com for $8/bottle
