Layering Fun - Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Nuclear & Kleancolor Fashionista

Hey everyone!

Today is my day off! I'm going to get my hair cut, swatch, and continued to unpack boxes. Keep in mind, I'm adding wine drinking to the mix. :P Today I have another Sally Hansen Hard As Nails holo glitter to share, Nuclear. I LOVE these glitters, and this oddball color of the bunch just may be my favorite. I tend to adore "ugly" colors, they just make my heart melt! Nuclear is a dirty mustard yellow/olive green polish with a sheer base and holo glitter. I am seriously in love. Seriously. ;p These are older swatches, but I think this is two coats over Kleancolor Fashionista, up next.

The perfectly matching underwear underneath it all is Kleancolor's Fashionista. I LOVE THIS! Dirty olive green creme with yellow undertones. This may be one of my favorite Kleancolors I own. Once again, older swatches but I think two coats.

Any one else love "ugly" colors?

Layering Fun - Nails Inc Ascot with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Clover

*jumps up and down while waving* Hey there!!!

Can you tell I'm really excited to show you my latest layering post? Okay good because it's THAT purdy! 

I've been getting into certain brands more lately than others, and right now I'm totally digging Nails Inc. I have a few others, but this gem is the newest addition. Ascot is a glowing medium green with green/golden shimmer polish. Oh do I love this polish so. Nails Inc is really a fab brand. This is two coats, smooth as can be. 

How could I possibly make this green stunner even MORE stunning? Glad you asked - add two coats of Kleancolors Chunky Holo Clover. Kleancolor, I don't care how stinky your polishes are when you make amazing glitters like these. As far as I'm concerned, it's well worth it!  

Chunky Holo Clover is a BRIGHT green sheer jelly polish with glitter that shifts from green to orange in a truly amazing way. These Kleancolor Holo glitters are made for layering only they're so sheer but they really make any manicure that much more alluring and eye-catching.

I have been going NUTS with blog sales lately - I think I made seven orders in the last week and a half. I can't help it, so many amazing polishes at rockin prices! I don't have many Kleancolors in my stash, so when I saw this holo beauty for a buck, I jumped on the chance! This is Chunky Holo Scarlet.

This is three thin coats over two coats of Wet N Wild's Inkwell. I'm a sucker for red glitter - seriously, the fiance makes fun of me for having so many and always buying more. Don't know why - I'm just drawn to it! Chunky Holo Scarlet is so cool because it's well, holo! It has a slight red base and flashes from red to green and almost blue and gold. It's mesmerizing to stare at! It's official. I need more Kleancolor holo glitters in my life.

Kleancolor - Holo Chrome

Good morning!

This morning I have for you one of Kleancolor's holo polishes, Holo Chrome. I was a little bit on the fence with these polishes due to the smell/fumes issues I'd read about on other blogs. On some I'd actually read that the fumes made bloggers dizzy! Alas, the results I'd seen were so stunning, I had to try one. Can't deny, I'm glad I did.

HC is a stunning bright violet jelly holo PACKED to the brim with fine holo glitter, I loved it! It tried it at first on it's own and I was definitely meant to be layer. I applied a bright purple polish underneath and it was perfect! Now for the smell. It really reeked. Not enough to make me dizzy, but enough that I couldn't keep my face too close. :/ Oh, well, result well worth the sacrifice!

Pink Wednesday! Kleancolor - Pink Lady

Happy Wednesday, it's my first pink one!

I've never been a pink polish girl. I've ALWAYS gravitated toward funky colors/darks/jellies/neutrals, but recently I decided it was time to try to be a pink polish lover! So, since I'd never tried Kleancolors, I got three pinks from them! :P I have for you Pink Lady!

Hey if you're gonna go pink, go all out! :D

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink Lady! I did it on both my fingers and toes, and I must say it might be my go-to pedicure color from now on. This is a yummy, VERY opaque pink (one coat would have been enough, but I am just in the habit of applying two) with a white shimmer that just glows! Now I've heard the the Kleancolor holos can be really really stinky, but the fumes for this baby wasn't that bad at all.
