Old and New - Revlon Streetwear Burnt & Top Speed Modern Grace

Well now, Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone's week is off to a great start. Today I have an Old and New post, and for the Old section to start things off I have one of my newly acquired Streetwears, Burnt. Streetwear has a silly lil habit of giving the same name up to three different polishes, so this is just one version of Burnt. I love this olive green based polish with matching green and gold shimmer, just up my alley for green polish AND a Streetwear! SOLD! Formula was a little runny, as some older polishes can be. This is two coats if I remember correctly.

Next up we have one of my favorite polishes from Revlon's Top Speed line. This beauty is from last summer's Limited Edition collection, and since I was a nail newbie then, I missed out. And finally I found it on eBay for five bucks with shipping and I was sold. And one happy polish addict! This periwinkle purple polish is just perfection for a summer color and I see myself reaching for it time and time again. Great formula, two coats.

Have a great day!

Barielle - Falling Star

Good Morning!

I hope you all are having a good week, mine has been full of working and packing. Blah. But Virginia Beach, here I come! Today I have for you one of the most unique polish colors that I have in my stash, Barrielle's Falling Star.

I don't remember ever being this torn when it comes to a polish. Why you may ask? I love the color, I've never seen anything like it! It's an almost periwinkle creme blue with bronze glitter. I would never have thought up that combo in a million years! I. Hate. The. Formula. AL OT! The first time I tried this polish it was so think and goopy that I was appalled. I added thinner to it this time around and I just still don't like it. Now it's just streaky. Grrrrrrr!! I used two coats. I'm just on the fence with this one ladies. :/

This is my first Barielle polish, I have a few more I haven't tried yet. I just really hope I don't run into this formula issue with each one. But like I said, love love love the color! Barrielle polishes retail for $8/bottle at http://www.barielle.com/ and I've also spotted them at Ulta.
