Can't you just smell the Halloween in the air? :p I can - maybe it has something to do with my ever-growing Fantasy Makers collection! hehe..I've been addicted lately! This older FM was sent to me by my wonderous friend Amanda for my birthday - yes, she IS the best! :)
Passionate purple is one of the older Fantasy Makers, not sure exactly what year. It looks much more opaque in the bottle, because MAN this puppy is SO sheer! This is five coats. FIVE! It looks like a grape popsicle or lollipop to me:) so I'm pleased with how it turned out, just don't know if I have to patience for five coats every time. :/ Layering perhaps?
In case you haven't noticed - I've become quite obsessed with collecting Fantasy Makers. THANKS AMANDA!

Orly Minderal FX - Rock Solid
HI!
Have you ever passed on a polish only to later find you freaking really like it after all? This is my relationship with Rock Solid. I passed on it initially and got Stone Cold instead. I always wished in the back of my mind I would have nabbed it. Than a fellow lovely blogger Katrice of Blue Polish held a giveaway and I won this bad boy! (FYI - it was my first time ever winning one! Woo Hoo!) Here it is!
Rock Solid is a gun metal/dark silver polish with a scattered holo affect. Application was truly great, I used two thin coats and it was good to go! Beautiful metallic foil color, great pigment payoff, the only small letdown was the scattered holo didn't translate well from bottle to the nail. It was there, don't get me wrong, but just not was strongly as the bottle itself. I still really like SC though!
Overall, I really like the two Orly Mineral FX polishes that I own. I really want to try more, I have a pretty long wishlist! :p
Orly Mineral FX polishes are a little pricier than their regular line, pricing at about $8.99/bottle.

China Glaze - Channelesque
AGGHH!
I'm so freakin' excited for today's post! Have you ever found a polish, you think it's pretty in the bottle, and than you paint that baby on and - WOW! I have fallen so in love with this polish it's not even funny! I got this baby from my amazing friend Jacqui at out Nail Board meetup earlier this fall. I'm so glad it's mine! It's the perfect combo of sophistication and funky. I bring to you China Glaze's Channelesque!
LOOK AT IT! JUST LOOK AT IT! Channelesque is what I describe as a mushroom-y lilac creme that reminds of of silly putty! It really had that putty look to it don't you think? This color is long discontinued & HTF and is not the now 3-free China Glaze formula. I love it so much I don't care. I'll take five back up bottles, please and thank you! This is two dreamy coats. :)))
I could just go and on and on about this gorgeous polish! I'm sure it can be bought on Amazon or Ebay - if you find it snatch it up!

OPI Muppets Collection - Rainbow Connection
Well hey there, ladies!
Today I have a polish for you that I have been WAITING and DYING to get my hands on! Well, that and pretty much the whole rest of the collection, too! :p It's OPI's 2011 Muppets holiday collection's Rainbow Connection! There's so many I wanted when I first saw the promo pics, but the standout and can't live without in the group was this fun polish. :D
I layered the lovely Rainbow Connection over one of my favorite black polishes - China Glaze's liquid leather. I grew up on the Muppets and Fraggle Rock. I LOVED them so much! To this day I can still recite word for word some of the skits. Screw Sesame Street - I was a Muppets girl! :p So, naturally, when I saw that OPI was coming out with a collection based on them the inner child in me went bazerk! And if you're wondering, my favorite was Gonzo. :)
Now I know I'm a sucker for anything remotely a dupe of HB, I have quite a lot, but I really fell for this baby because I felt it embodied the fun spirit of the Muppets so well! RC is a clear based polish with various sizes of hex and circle glitter in pink, blue, orange, green, blue, & silver. I love it so much!

Orly Holiday Soiree Collection - Au Champagne
Why hello there!
I recently did an amazing swap with the lovely Maria of Nails Made Simple and I got two polishes from Orly's Holiday Soiree Collection. And YES, one of them is Androgynie! *squeals* I'll be swatching that bad boy soon, but until then I have Au Champagne to share - enjoy!
Isn't this one of the dreamiest white polishes you've ever seen? Au Champagne is so amazing, I knew I wanted it after seeing the very first swatches of this collection come out. It has such a fluffy, shimmery, airy feel to it that stands it apart from any other whites in my stash. It instantly reminds me of snow - pearly snow, hehe - but a festive polish for sure! This is two coats.

Went N Wild Fantasy Makers - Creepy Pumpkin
Well hello again!
Today I have for you the Fantasy Maker that I was most excited about from this year's display - an orange jelly polish named Creepy Pumpkin. I mean, come on, the NAME ALONE is worth the purchase!
Creepy Pumpkin is two things I LOVE when it comes to polish - orange and jelly! I'm such a sucker for both! Add shimmer? Even better! BUT (yes, there is a but...) I had issues with the brush and formula. The brush was wonky and a little misshapen. The formula was REALLY goopy. I had to let each coat dry for such a long time. I actually had to swatch this twice because of that. This is two coats, but I should have used three like I normally do with my jellies.
I purchased this Fantasy Maker at Ulta for $1.99

Cover Girl NailSlicks - Midnight Rose
Good morning, lacquerheads!
If you ladies love Cover Girl's Mystic Peacock, you're in for a BIG treat! I came across this amazing find while checking out my new thrifting stomping grounds - for only 99 cents along with some old Wet N Wild glitters. Gotta love cheap surprises! Without further ado, I bring you Midnight Rose!
One MAN is this a vampy stunner of a polish or WHAT? Midnight Rose is a deep, dark plum leaning on the brown tone with ultra-fine silver shimmer. It's amazing. I couldn't stop staring when I was wearing it and was so sad to take it off when it was time to swatch my next polish! :*( I wish I had a back up bottle, I'm going to have to go Amazon hunting! Like Mystic Peacock's formula, the first coat was a little runny but the second coat evened it was PERFECT!
I must get my hands on other deep, dark, shimmery CG Nailslicks! I have my eyes on Midnight Forest, Go Green, Plum Fairy, & Smokey Topaz :P
