Red Carpet Lacquer - Toro

HI!

It's time for even more Etsy indie polishes! Today I have my first of two polishes from Jamie over at Red Carpet Lacquer. Before we move onto polish, I have to note how wonderful it was ordering from her. Communication was a delight, shipping was lightning fast, & it came packed in little red bags with silver tinsel. Today I have Toro to share. Oh Toro, Toro, Toro, where do I start? :P Clear base with three types of red glitter - small, bar, & square. Two types of black - large hex and square. Two types of white glitter - bar and hex. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. This is two coats over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's Wet Cement.

Aw yea. That's right.
Do you own any Red Carpet Lacquer?

Layering Fun - Revlon Crystal Talline Gold Lame & Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hot Sauce

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today I have one of the the unique polishes purchases of recent - A JAPANESE REVLON GLITTER! I saw this in a blog sale, and wasn't really entirely sure what I was buying until I peeled off the bubble wrap and saw it had a Japanese label on the back! Of course I tried to Google Gold Lame, but alas had no such luck. All I know is - it's Revlon. (I love me some Revlon.) It's vintage. It's glitter. It's a Japanese exclusive so rare I can't find anything on it. All in all = Dana is one happy girl. :D <--- cheesin'! Gold Lame is a clear-based polish with teeny square gold glitter. This is one layer over Hot Sauce.

Such a sucker for square glitter.
Underneath I have a vintage Sally Hansen Hard As Nails - Hot Sauce. Aw man I miss polishes with matching brush handles. They really need to bring them back! Hot Sauce has been one of my favorite reds and I'm sure you can see why! Tomato red polish with golden shimmer, what I think to be a great summer red. I always seem to enjoy the formula on these, this is two coats.

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! :p

KBShimmer - Party Nail Polish

Happy almost Friday!

Today I have an amazing Etsy find to share! Look - I could spend my entire paycheck on Etsy. Five paychecks, actually. It's a weakness in the the biggest way for me! So, I really limit myself to the frankens I buy. I only buy the ones that I without a doubt can't live without! When I came across Party Nail Polish from KBShimmer, I didn't hesitate to click "buy". I am so amazed and happy with my purchase that I'm already planning my next order from the shop! They all look amazing and the soaps sold as well look delicious! Prepare to drool!

Just fantastic, riiiiiight?!?! Party Nail Polish starts off with a milky white - almost a pale lavender base. Very smooth base formula and easy to work with. Next comes all the fun! It's a crazy birthday party on my nail! Fine green/blue/pink glitter, various size and color SQUARE *squee!* glitter, holo silver DIAMOND *eek!* glitter, and various sizes and colors of hex glitter. It's a rockin' celebration indeed! You would think from the look at it, it would be hard to tame to a smooth finish to touch - but I was a lucky girl with this one! One thick(ish) coat of Seche Vite and it was smooth as can be. This is two coats. Did I mention I adore this polish? :P

AAAGGGGHH!! :D
Have an awesome Thursday!

Essence Circus Circus collection - My Sparkling Acrobat & Applause, Applause

We meet again! On to day two!

Today I have the remaining two amazing polishes from Essence's Circus Circus collection. I had so much fun swatching these polishes and they were everything I thought and knew they would be! My favorite from the collection is up first - My Sparkling Acrobat. A great black creme polish? CHECK! Square and mirco-fine gold glitter? SOLD! I just love the way they compliment one another. Just LOVE this combo!

Next up I have Applause, Applause - a great cherry red creme polish with matching square and mirco red glitter. Once again I love how they compliment one another - match made in Heaven! I love a great red polish. Add matching SQUARE glitter? *faints*

I hope you all enjoyed this collection as much as I have!

Essence Circus Circus collection - Don't Feed The Tiger & Cotton Candy

Well hey now!

Today I have a very exciting collection to share (*squee!*) - Essence's Circus Circus collection! This amazing two-ended polish collection made it's way all the way from Germany! My lovely Twitter friend and fellow blogger Jeanette made it all possible! I don't need to tell you how breath-taking her blog is, I know you all know her all to well! Thanks again, girl! :)

First up I have Don't Feed The Tiger. The main reason I was so excited about this collection was the SQUARE GLITTER! I'm a glitter nut. Make it square? I drool and loose my mind. That's exactly what I did with this collection. LOL! Don't Feed The Tiger starts off with a gold chrome polish on one end, and a clear base with gold and black micro-fine glitter and black square glitter. I mean, what's left to say? Just awesome as sh*t.

Next up I have Cotton Candy. This polish is a wonderful magenta pink polish with matching glitter. I'm slowly falling more and more in love with pinks and I love how the glitter compliments the polish in this one. Very fun!

I

Tomorrow I show the other two! :)

Wet N Wild One the Prowl - Correction Tape over Nicole by OPI Rich in Spirit

Good morning!!!

Today I have a great layering combo to show you! Have you ever had a lemming for a polish so bad that it's on your fingernails literally within the hour you receive your nail mail? Silly question - of COURSE we all have! Duh! THANKS EVELYN! I couldn't believe my eyes that Correction Tape for Wet N Wild's HTF On the Prowl collection had actually arrived, that everything else had to wait. :P

Where to start, where to start?...... :) First of all - SQUARE GLITTER! I have a lot of rainbow glitter polish in my stash, but this baby stands alone with it's jaw-dropping square glitter! Way to stand out in a crowd, Wet N Wild! It's a crazy round/hex/square size mixture in black, blue, pink, and gold. So unique! Since I was already wearing one of my go-to favorite polishes, Rich in Spirit from Nicole by OPI, I though it would make a nice layering combo. I was Right! :)

This, ladies, is why I just can't get enough glitter in my life. :p
