Rimmel 60 Seconds - Night Before

Hey there, lovlies!

IT'S FRIDAY! Which means I have a day off, but I have to renew my Pharmacy Technician license. AKA I have to sit and do Continuing Education credits all day. BLAH. I'm treating myself to a day of swatching afterwards.

Today I have a fantastic polish to share, Rimmel 60 Seconds Night Before. This polish is what happens when OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest, Clarins 2030, and Max Factor Fantasy Fire had a baby. That sheer and build-able purple base, and that amazing sought after fiery shimmer. (Check out the bottle shot at the end of the post - really shows it off!) I've completely fallen in love with these kind of shades. The sheerness builds up so nicely with the shimmer! I won this on eBay, but I think there are a few more floating around on there as well! This is two coats. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Amazing, right?

Rimmel 60 Seconds - Green With Envy

Good morning!

Today I have one of my more recently acquired Rimmel 60 Second polishes, Green With Envy. The ever so lovely Esther sent me this all the way from the UK from her blog sale.

First off, I really enjoy the brushes on these polishes - nice, wide, flat, easy to control. I know they're not for everyone, but they work for me! Green With Envy is more of what I would consider a blue/turquoise and less of your typical green, but who cares with a color and shimmer this pretty?! Formula was great, this is two coats.

Have a great day! <3

Rimmel - Mania

OHHHH RIMMEL MANIA. How on earth is it possible for a polish to be so amazingly gorgeous?! I mean COME ON! I almost think you're a figment of my imagination I thought up to appeal to all of my polish loving senses. Are you blue? Are you green? Is your shimmer gold? Is it green? Every time I took into the depth of this amazing bad boy, I see you differently. And every time I think I love you a litter more. No joke, one of my favorite polishes OF. ALL. TIME. EVER! Sorry for the babble, but I almost have to words for how in love I am. I *think* this is two coats. Pretty sure. *sighs* I love you, Mania. You chameleon, you.

This shimmer is amazing beyond words. In fact I have no words.
Are you drooling over your keyboard yet? :P

Rimmel - Zeitgeist

HAPPY SATURDAY!

Today I have an amazing, rare, and stunning duochrome to share - Zeitgeist by Rimmel! I have some of the most amazing polish friends a gal could ask for, and Esther is one of my dearest. She knows I'm a collector of vintage polish and how rare this gem is, so she gifted it to me out of the goodness of her big heart! THANK YOU SO MUCH, ESTHER! I'm in duochrome Heaven!

At first I thought Zeitgeist was your typical duochrome but I was so pleased to see it is so dimensional!  An oil slick in a bottle! The main color of this polish of course is deep magenta, and it flashed mainly gold, but it also has a blue/green the appears as well in some light. I LOVE Zeitgeist so much! It's so hard these days to find good duochromes that translate well from bottle to the nail. Two coats.True love.

Some nice bottle shots for ya!

Old and New - Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Bold Frost & Rimmel Rags To Riches

Happy Sunday, polish lovers!

I hope you are all having a fun weekend - I love any weekend that I have time to have a swatch-a-thon! As I'm sure other bloggers feel the same way, I feel as though I buy so much fast than I can even start to swatch everything. I'm always hundreds behind. I think I may have to purge and have a blog sale soon. Maybe. :P We shall see.

My first beauty to show you today is one of my old Sally Hansen Hard As Nails from the 90s. Here is a wonderful reference guide. I love these polishes SO MUCH, not only because of the matching brush handles (which I LOVE! it's the simple things in life that make me smile.) but the fun and funky colors they came up with back in the day. Bold Frost I believe is one of the older Hard As Nails, so that might put it the the mid 90s. I think. Bold Frost is a wonderful frosty (duh.) lighter blue polish with I think to be, the perfect amount of frostiness. The formula was just a little on the runny side, but three coats and we were in business.

Next up I have one of the newest Rimmel polishes. I only own two of the newer Rimmels - I miss and love the older ones. Star Trek will be on my wishlist until it is mine. *insert maniacal laughter here* Rags To Riches is AMAZING though and once I saw swatches start to pop up I knew I needed this dark olive green foil. It's just stunning and right up my alley for green polish! The brush on these polishes are very wide and scoop-like, I love and I hate it. Haven't decided yet. This is two coats.

Have a wonderful day! -D
