My Blue Lacquer - Purple Nerple

Happy Saturday and Happy New Years Eve!

Today I wanted to pick a sparkly party mani to show you, so I went with Beanie's Purple Nerple. I know you all can tell how much I love her frankens from my posts on Blue Sangwich and Las Vegas Watermelon, so my love for Purple Nerple is big too! She is adding new glitters in the new year - I can't WAIT! Here we go!

Purple Nerple is a very sheer polish, so I didn't bother piling on layer after layer. This baby was born to layer over! This time I chose Barielle's Grape Escape. I thought they matched perfectly! Purple Nerple is what I consider to be the perfect "grape purple" polish. Let me just say that anytime you throw in HUGE HEX GLITTER into the mix, my heart naturally skips a beat and I fall in love. In this case, Beanie added them along with smaller hex glitter and even smaller circular holo glitter. It was a little hard to fish out the large pieces, but not as hard as it normally can be. This is two coats over two coats of Grape Escape.

Who doesn't love large hex goodness??

My Blue Lacquer - Las Vegas Watermelon

Good morning, gals!

Today I have yet another one of Beanie over at Blue Lacquer's frankens - Las Vegas Watermelon. I know I gushed about how personable she is and how creative and fun her polishes are - and if you needed more proof, here ya go! Squishy, jelly polish goodness! :D

The squishy, jelly look and feel to this polish really agrees with it's name - a juicy pink fruit with seeds! :P hehe, it really does! This polish was a tad bit thicker than Blue Sangwich, so I had to be patient letting it dry between it's two coats. I would describe this pink as more of a salmon pink color, and with the iridescent purple shimmer and a multitude of sizes of hex glitter, it really screams summer to me! It would look bangin' with a tan! Which clearly I don't have. :P Once again, the elephant sells me every time.

Yummy, squishy, summery goodness!

My Blue Lacquer - Blue Sangwich

Happy Hump Day, ladies!

Today I have the first of several frankens made by the wonderful Beanie over at My Blue Lacquer to show you. Her polishes are fun and unique, not to mention she always seems to be adding new frankens to her blog sale! :) She is a sweetheart to order from and shipping was quick as can be. Add an elephant logo? SOLD! Here is Blue Sangwich.

Blue Sangwich is such a fun yet whimsical polish! I fell in love when I saw it on her blog sale and REALLY fell for it when I saw it in person and swatched this bad boy. Think Glitter In The Air Meets a light "smurf blue" meets Happy Birthday! Yep, that's what I said. :D I really love the formula, it's opaque enough to wear alone (this is three thin coats) but also sheer enough to layer it up. Hidden within this pool of blue polish is iridescent blue shimmer and rainbow hex glitter. I need another bottle.
