BYS - Peppermint

TGIF!

Happy Friday, dolls! Anyone have anything fun planned this weekend? I'm working a few short shifts, putting up our Christmas tree, going to a football party. Christmas time is my favorite time of the year! Today I have another great BYS polish to share, Peppermint. The ever-so-amazing Lani sent me this one, and I LOVE IT! Is it supposed to smell like Peppermint? Hmmmm.... I didn't let it dry long enough while swatching, so I'm really not sure!

Peppermint is a sheer light green glitter polish with holo glitter swimming within. This is one of those strictly layering glitters, this is two coats over Fetish Sci-Fi. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I ADORE BYS glitters. I need them all. ALL!

Have a fun Friday!

BYS - Black & Gold and I'm taking a small vacation

Hi there!

Jeff and I are leaving to drive home to Ohio for Thanksgiving tonight, and I've been to busy to write blogs posts for while I'm away. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! I'll see you all Monday!

Time for another new BYS to share - Black & Gold. This is another gem that the ever-so-amazing Lani sent my way - thanks for knocking one off my BYS wish list, girl! <3 I love the amazing girls I've met through polish, some of the sweetest out there!

Black & Gold. Where. To. Start. I'm too busy drooling over this polish to put it into thoughts LOL! :D I mentioned in my last BYS post how fantastic their glitters are - this is another shining example! Black & Gold is a black-based polish with irregular gold glitter. What makes this polish so amazing is a combination of a few things - first off the base. I love this black base because it's sheer enough to let the gold glitter shine on through, but dark enough to be opaque in only two coats, shown here. Secondly - the warm tone to the gold glitter - so unique! Formula was spot-on. I seriously cannot express my love enough for this polish.

What do ya think, ladies?!

BYS - Down The Rabbit Hole from The Wonderland Collection

Hello again!

I am totally in love with BYS. Seriously and completely. Their glitters are to DIE FOR. Their brush is easy as can be to work with, their formulas are perfect. Their polishes can be on the stinky side, but I'll take it and zip my mouth shut for glitters like this beaut! From the moment I laid eyes on BYS's Wonderland collection, I knew they all had to be mine. I finally have all 3 and for this polish I give a big thank you to Lauren! <3 You're the best, girl! You can check out my swatches of Through The Looking Glass HERE

Down The Rabbit Hole is soooo awesome! Smoky black jelly loaded with holo glitter?! YES, PLEASE! I love the depth you get with this polish, it looks like a little galaxy on my nails! Some of my pics are slightly blurry, I'm going to act sly and say it's to show off the holo goodness. :P This is three coats. LOVE! One of my all-time favorite scattered holos.

BYS, do the damn thing.
Last but not least I have Adventures Of Alice to share ;)

BYS - Through The Looking Glass from the Wonderland Collection

Hello, dolls!

Sometimes dreams come true in the world of polish. Sometimes these dreams come through from the generosity of amazing gals you meet in the world of polish. This post is a giant THANK YOU to the lovely Lani! You're the sweetest and I'm so grateful we struck up a lovely friendship. <3

BYS's Wonderland collection was something I drooled over almost immediately when I got into polish. Since I knew it was an Aussie brand and a collection from a couple years past, I thought I would just admire from afar. Lani was able to track down Adventures Of Alice (swatches coming SOON! I want to enjoy these both as full manis!) and today's polish - Through The Looking Glass. I'm crossing my lil' fingers that I get my mitts on Down The Rabbit Hole one day. (Black jelly with holo glitter - I could DIE!) Through the looking glass may look familiar - yep! - OPI's Absolutely Alice. I cherish my bottle of AA but I gotta tell ya, TTLG packs more of a punch in my opinion. It's a brighter, more vibrant blue glitter. I'll have to do a comparison post. I'm currently wearing this combo as I type this post. I might cry when I have to take it off. This is two coats over two coats of Wet N Wild Ink Well.

What do ya think? :P

Layering Fun - L'Oreal Crushed Amethyst & BYS Amethyst Metallic

TGIF!

For those of you who follow me on Intagram, I debuted today's manicure last week and it was a HIT! Here it is!!! I present to you, L'Oreal's Crushed Amethyst!

Now, before all of the crazy flaky maddness of late, years ago (mid 2000's? Right? Wrong?) L'Oreal rocked it with their flaky goodness! I have three to share (the others I will keep under wraps until it's time to share :P) but today we will start with this purple beauty. Crushed Amethyst starts off with a sheer lavender base LOADED with iridescent purple flakies that flash to a bright blue. OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE this combo! This is two coats over BYS Amethyst Metallic up next.

BYS Metallic is yet another great polish sent to me by the ever-so-amazing Lauren. I LOVE metallic line! The formula was a little thin, but not unmanageable. Three coats. <3

Have a great day! :)

A few BYS Metallics

Hi there!

Today I have more polishes to share from first swap with the lovely Lauren, my first BYS polishes! She was able to hunt me down two on my BYS wishlist, I had been eyeballing a few from their Metallics line. Thanks once again, you wonderful polish fairy! I enjoyed BYS's formula, but they were rather stinky. Not Kleancolor stinky, but stinky non the less. They're so awesome though, so who cares. :) First up I have Emerald, a medium greem polish jam-packed with matching green shimmer. My inner green polish addict is grinning from ear to ear. Two coats.

Next up I have Blue Sapphire. Be still my beating heart. I mean WOWZA! Blue Sapphire freaking GLOWS! A vibrant blue with matching blue shimmer. Tops my favorite blues list for sure. I love both of these from BYS's Metallics line, but they're more glowing shimmery polishes then what I concider to to metallic polishes. Hmmm. I'm happy as a clam though! :P Great polishes!

Do you own any BYS polishes?
