China Glaze - OMG

Hey polish friends!

Ya know what? I decided to bust out some of the big guns for this Hump Day post. I'm not sure what I was saving this post for, but today seems as good a day as any, so here is OMG! This polish needs little introduction and even less explanation since we all know and either cherish or lem for this linear holo original. I have a few others from the OMG collection, but I never though I'd ever get my mitts on the namesake for the sheer cost of the HTF on either eBay or blog sales. Thank goodness I know some of the sweetest polish ladies and my Twitter friend Janice hooked me up! Thanks again, girl! With further a do, here are the pics! :D

I don't really own enough strong linear holos to render my needing an aqua base although I am debating buying one, so this is three coats - no base coat, no topcoat. I mean what can I really say? IT'S AMAZING! I know there are a gazillion crazy-amazing holos out there now but my being the vintage fan, this is one I had to find for my stash. Even my fiance Jeff was impressed. :P Silver rainbow for my nails! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

What do ya think? ;)

China Glaze - L8R G8R

I'm baaaaaaack!!!!

Sorry for being MIA lately - I've had a lot going on personally AND my nails just won't stop breaking!!! I was going to try and and let them grow back out, but then I had a thought. I'm just going to throw caution to the wind and swatch my little broken nubbins. They're not too awful. Sometimes we can be our own worst critics. Today I have the first of four polishes I found from the OMG collection while out on a dusty for four bucks a pop. I always wanted L8R G8R the most due to my green polish obsession. I couldn't be happier! Here it is! *happy dance*

Eeekkk! Amazing, I know! With so many linear holos out there these days the OMG collection has taken a lil back seat, but I still lem after about half of the collection. There are so many linears out there that I drool all over for, but the price tags seem just too steep for me. L8R G8R is so awesome! A lime light lime green holo? SOLD! The fiance saw it and said "woa!" so I know it's that great! :D I'm in love! This is three coats with no base coat.

Awwwww yeaaaa!

Catherine Arley #669

Happy Monday I suppose, ladies!

The weekend flew by but I'm really happy with all that we achieved. A+ for Dana and Jeff! Anyhoo, I managed to only get minimal swatching done. At I least I did a few, right? I got some GREAT nail mail yesterday, and one of them was my very first Catherine Arley holographic polish. IN. LOVE. Here is #669. (Shame on your Catherine for making amazing polishes with no names!)

#669 is just amazing. This is one of my first and only (*gasp* I know!) linear holo. Not sure why, I love linears, seems like I either can never find them or the price-tags are too rich for my blood. When I came across this bad boy on a blog sale, I jumped at the chance. #669 is a nude-toned linear polish that is just stunning to look at both in the bottle and on the nail. The formula was a little on the thicker side, so I was careful. This is two thin coats. I have a hard time with nude polishes, but this is a sure way to win me over! Now I just need to find more Catherine Arley polishes. :P
