Pink Wednesday! Kleancolor - Pink Lady

Happy Wednesday, it's my first pink one!

I've never been a pink polish girl. I've ALWAYS gravitated toward funky colors/darks/jellies/neutrals, but recently I decided it was time to try to be a pink polish lover! So, since I'd never tried Kleancolors, I got three pinks from them! :P I have for you Pink Lady!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink Lady! I did it on both my fingers and toes, and I must say it might be my go-to pedicure color from now on. This is a yummy, VERY opaque pink (one coat would have been enough, but I am just in the habit of applying two) with a white shimmer that just glows! Now I've heard the the Kleancolor holos can be really really stinky, but the fumes for this baby wasn't that bad at all.

Sinful Colors - Open Seas

Hey there dolls!
Today I have for you a polish that has been sitting in the bottom of my untrieds since maybe May/June. I'm slowly getting there with going through them all, & since summer's slowly coming to an end, I thought I'd pick summery colors for my next few posts. I have for you Open Seas by Sinful Colors!

I'm not going to lie, when OPI Pirates of the Caribbean:Stranger Tides collection came out, I was thought "eh". I bought the Silver Shatter cause, let's face it, I was obsessed with shatters at the time! The only color that really stood out to me was Mermaids Tears, but never brought myself to forking over the OPI price tag.
THEN I saw that sinful came out with almost exact dupes of the entire collection (minus silver shatter) I knew it was time to try it out!

Overall, I liked this light turquoise creme polish. Application was a little runny, but I was good at two coats. Sinful tends to be either a hit or miss with me, and this was a hit. Now I kinda wish I had Mermaids Tears to compare. :/

Rescue Beauty Lounge - Bikini Bottom

Hello again!
I couldn't help but do two posts today because this polish is by far the queen of my collection. I fell in love with this polish from the first time I put it on and find myself reaching for it again and again and again...well you get the point! :P
Bikini Bottom is just a delicious polish. A sheer light blue watery jelly polish that is perfect for summer! Every time I go to pick a color, my eyes always wander over to it. Usually I wear a white base underneath, but today I decided to try it sheer the way Ji intended it to be worn and I love the results! RBL never ceases to amaze me thus far, making the splurge for the polishes an awsome investment.

I know this post is picture heavy, but I just can't help but show it off! This is three coats, normally I do a white base with two, but I really love it much more sheer with three. Man this polish rocks!

essence Blossom etc... in Forget-Me-Not

Hello there! Back from my mini-vacay AKA getting me and the fiance settled with our jobs and house in Virginia Beach, September 25th is the big moving day! Feels good to get back in my at-home routine. :)
Today I have for you a limited addition polish from essence, Blossom etc... Forget-Me-Not, a whimsical light lavender with blue shimmer woven throughout. I saw this display at ULTA and just fell in love with the spring/summery color. It was very picked over, so thank goodness there was one left for me!

UNFORTUNATELY the sun was not my friend today in the time I had and this was the only outdoor shot. Doesn't this polish just glow? I love it! :P I used two coats, the brush was tricky due to the long wand and access polish dripping down. Overall, this formula was pretty average I'd have to say. Not too thick, not too runny.

The Hungry Asian's Strawberry

Hey ladies!
Did you ever get such exciting nail mail that you take off the polish you just put on that same morning to try the a new one?? That was me today!!! :P
I had heard of Kae's Hungry Asian polishes from other bloggers and found her blog site which sells her amazing polishes. I saw her Ruby Flats polish (swatches will be up soon!) and decided I couldn't live without it! Not only was it sooo reasonably priced, she shipped it at lightning speed, AND out of the kindness of her big heart she included an overfilled Strawberry polish as a freebie! Even BIGGER is her heart since proceeds from her polishes go toward the tsunami relief in Japan. You go, girl! I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and decided that my nails just NEEDED to wear this lovely in Virginia Beach! :)

Strawberry is a wonderful red! I'm very, very picky with my reds. This one is just STUNNING! And as for the formula? Better than any I've used in a little while. Seriously - no pooling, no clumps, not runny. Kae clearly knows perfection and wants us to have it! It was near perfect opaque after just ONE coat, two made it a dream! She added a slight amount of black glitter to, well, give it the name Strawberry! It's a little hard to see, though. :D So cute!

Dr.'s Remedy in Healing Heather Grey

Happy gloomy Thursday ladies! Or at least it is here in Cleveland :/. Not enough sun to do any holo swatches I've been itching to do, so I thought I'd do one of polishes I recently got from a blog sale. I'm a sucker for grey polishes, so I was really excited when I got this one! I like that Dr.'s Remedy polishes are infused with tea tree oil, vitamins, & wheat protein. Plus they are 3 free. I'm definitely going to have to check them out again!

The formula was a little thick on this one, so next time I'll definitely use thinner coats and two coats, I used three when I didn't really need to. Healing Heather Grey is a light creme grey. I love the way it looks with my complexion.

Overall, I'm always happy to add a killer grey polish to my stash, and this one did not cease to please me!

Wet N Wild Fastdry Mermaid's Cove

Better late than never, right? I know these have been around awhile, but I spent FOREVER searching every CVS (the only place I've seen them) in the Cleveland area. I felt as if there was another polish fanatic one step ahead of me grabbing up every Magic Trident, (I have a lemming for this LIKE CRAZY! I still would die to have it!!!) Waves of Enchantment, & Atlantis. Alas, I ended up with the five that I have and since I finally have my blog up & running, I get to show them off now. :D Without further a do, Wet N Wild's Mermaid's Cove!


                                              Ocean Grotto


Ocean Grotto is a lime green micro glitter that reflects a shade of yellow. I was VERY pleased with this polish. The micro glitter is so heavy that it makes application great. 3 coats.

                                                  Sea Witch


I. LOVE. THIS. POLISH! Seriously, though. It's amazing. Sea Witch is a royal blue/royal purple polish with heavy pinkish/purple shimmer. It's memorizing to look at in the sun. Great formula, no complaints. 3 coats. MAN did I mention I love this polish? By far my fave of the pack.

Sea of Dreams is a pink/mauve color that really golws! Formula can be a little thick, but it matches my skincolor really well!

                                                         Stream Of Wonder


Stream of Wonder is a frosty, shimmery blue. I really liked this polish, although I feel like I've seen it before. It was gorgeous in the sunshine. A great summer color. 3 coats.

                                                              Diving For Pearls


Diving for pearls is a FANTASTIC shimmery teal polish. This is my second fave of the pack, though the formula was the best of them all. It has a wonderful, tropical feel to it. Only 2 coats & it was perfection. Along with Sea Witch, if i had known how much I loved them both, I would have picked up back-up bottles.

Overall, great polish collection. Great colors, finishes, & creative names. I just wish I could have completed it :( especially MAGIC TRIDENT! I have the most intense lemming EVER for the polish! *shakes fist at the air* If anyone can help me track it down, I'll love you forever. :P
Unless you've already found these beauties, which I've heard were REALLY hard to find, they'll be tricky to hunt down. Fastdry polishes retail for about $1.99 - $2.49 at mass/chain drugstores etc.
