Sally Hansen - Opulent Cloud

Good morning, polish lovers!

Today I have seriously awesome polish to share, the fabled Sally Hansen Opulent Cloud. I think this came out in 2009? GAWD it's AMAZING! I finally found this bad boy and had a bit of an bidding war on eBay. TOTALLY. WORTH. IT. The base is a dusty lavender/taupe/grey with gold shimmer. Not quite a duochrome but definitely a morpher. This is two maybe three coats? I remember it being rather thin. LOVE.

SO PURDY!

L'Oreal - Brit Invasion

Hello there!

Today I a new L'Oreal polish to share, Brit Invasion. I feel like I never see new L'Oreal polish displays here in Virginia Beach! I don't know why, I see everything else as it comes out. Hmmm.... Anyhoo, this is from their London Fall LE collection. Paulina luckily came to my rescue! She sent this along with lots of other goodies, thanks again, babe! Make sure you check out her blog, The Gore Princess

Brit Invasion in a milky medium chocolate brown/taupe polish with with amazing gold shimmer. Such a warm and fuzzy color LOL if that makes sense! Great for winter more so than fall in my opinion. Formula was really great, this is two coats.

I didn't notice the sparse green glitter in there as well until I saw this macro shot!
Anyone end up snatching this up as well?

Old and New - Maybelline Express Finish Poolside Plum and Essie Jazz

Good Morning!

It's time again for an Old and New post! Today I picked a wonderful purple frosty metallic for you - Maybelline Express Finish's Poolside Plum. Yes, another awesome blog sale find! I have quite a few vintage Express Finish polishes and I really love their colors and finishes! I need MORE!

This, ladies is in my opinion the perfect winter purple polish! It has such a frosty, festive feel. I love a metallic look when it contains shimmer as well -a great combination! If I could find a backup of Poolside Plum I'd be the happiest girl in the world! This was two coats.

Next up we have another great shade for winter - Essie's Jazz - and it's a cute little mini! Jazz is a creamy taupe polish that I actually quite enjoyed with my skin tone. This is two coats.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Ani

I can't possibly put into words how much I have fallen head-over-heels in love with RBL. The formula - flawless. Colors - drool worthy. I cannot express how much I am looking forward to purchasing more and more and more and more (you get the idea!) in the future. Even more impressive is the fact the the creator Ji lets you VOTE to get your fave colors back! My first to show you is Ani.
Ani is a shimmery taupe/nude. I love how it makes my short little nubs seem longer. AMAZING! I've never been a real fan of nude colors, I always went for the brights and the darks. Ji has so many amazing neutral colors on her site though, I just HAD to give one a shot. Two coats was enough to have sophisticated nails. Again, the formula was heaven.

I'll be show-casing my other RBL's for sure! For now i wanted to start off with this beauty! If you hadnt noticed, I'm a big fan.
You can purchase RBL's at Ji's website - www.rescuebeauty.com
They can be kinda pricey - $18/pop but I feel like it's more than worth it!
