Models Own Beetlejuice Collection - Aqua Violet

Happy Saturday!

It's my last day in Ohio and my meet-up day with some amazing ladies! I'm torn between being really sad and really excited. Today I am (finally) getting around to showing the last polish from Models Own Beetlejuice collection - Aqua Violet. I was unsure of this polish at first glance - I thought it was going to be so sheer and need to be layered over black to show up as a true duochrome. Boy was I wrong! It's truly stunning all by it's lonesome!

Aqua Violet is a duochrome flashing - yes, you guessed it, blue and purple! The effect is beyond stunning and the amount of shimmer really adds pop. I don't think this baby will ever need to be layered. This is two coats. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Models Own Beetlejuice Collection - Pinky Brown

Good Morning!

Or almost afternoon I suppose - I slept in. Hey, I'm on vacation! What else is a girl to do? Anyhoo, I sometimes start posting a collection and get distracted and forget to post the rest of my pics. That's what happened to my Models Own Beetlejuice collection. ADD at it's finest, people. Here is Pinky Brown!

Pinky Brown is a polish I for sure love way more in person that I did in swatches. It's much more complex and stunning in person than I thought it would be - it's a "grainy" foil polish that flashes from a vibrant gold to a warm pink - I freakin love it! When I swatched it I just stared and stared at my nails. This is two coats.

Models Own Beetlejuice Collection - Emerald Black

Allo, girls!


It's my wonderful day off! I've decided to dedicate this entire day to nothing but polish! Swatching all and day vegging out on mindless TV. Merry Christmas to myself! Today I have yet another polish from Models Own's Beetlejuice Collection, Emerald Black. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this polish, but I ended up really loving it!

I always have been and always will be a huge fan of dark, vampy polishes. It's been that way forever. I really thought this polish would be "blah" at first glance in the bottle, but it really pops on the nail. Needless to say, I fell in love! Emerald Black is a black-based polish with shimmer that shifts from green/teal to a blue color. It is really stunning but also hard to capture in pictures. Perhaps you just have to see it for person. :P This is two coats.

Models Own Beetlejuice Collection - Golden Green

Hello darling polish fanatics!


Today is the day for another polish from Models Own's Beetlejuice Collection, Golden Green. So far this is my favorite, I love a green polish like this that flash gold undertones. Such a sucker. :p

So far I am so in love with this collection! As I said in my first post, I got this set in a Secret Santa and am such a lucky gal. Gold Green is an almost sheer sage green-toned polish with a golden yellow metallic undertone. It simply glows. And I love it. The great thing about this polish is at first glance, you'd think it's formula would be watery. In fact, it was not, and only two medium coats were needed. I love pleasant surprises!

Models Own Beetlejuice Collection - Purple Blue

Good morning, polish lovers!


A group of us polish fanatics recently did a Secret Santa gift exchange for Christmas. Fun idea, right? Even better? My Santa got me the Models Own Beetlejuice Collection! I literally jumped up and down since I missed out when the collection was first released. It was so hard to decide which to wear first, but ultimately I chose Purple Blue. I was not disappointed! 

Purple Blue is an amazing duochrome polish with a purple base that shifts from purple/pink to blue. Sometime in the right light you can see a little red and gold in it too! It's really, really stunning! In the sun it was mesmerizing to look at. This formula was a little on the thicker side, I ended up trying three thin coats during application. I wore this for two days without a chip or tip-wear. Very impressed indeed.
