I'M BACK! April polish hauls

Why hello there!

It's been.....nine months?! DANG! I could've had a KID by now! But, alas, I did not. I started a new job, got married, and found myself forcing the blogging. If there's one piece of advice I can lend to you all, take a small break when you know it's right. Back when I was still at it on the regular, I felt forced and I didn't allow myself to take a step back - instead it started to feel more like a job. So what happened? I haven't swatched a dang thing in nine months. I miss polish. I miss vintage polish. I miss my polish friends, and the polish community (for the most part). I got into the wax community for a good year, and as much as I love it all, polish is just my calling so to speak. Follow your heart, I'd say.

Before I go into all of my new pretties I accumulated in April, let me first explain. While I was MIA I was still of course buying polish here and there, but April was the month that I decided that I needed polish back in my life. The hunt, the thrill, discovery of vintage polish. SO, naturally, I went nuts. Now I normally don't buy this much polish in one month - well in the last year or two anyway. But, the excitement took over and I went a little CRAY! Without further ado - here's my hauls!

Revlon Street Wear: Monster Mash - Ohhhhh SWEET MOTHER! It's finally mine. It's really, finally, truly mine. I grabbed this for a STEAL on Story Envy. True love right here, people. If I could snuggle a bottle of nail polish THIS would be the one.

China Glaze: Nickel Ice

Naturistics: See Shells Pearl

Sally Hansen New Lengths: Granite Creme

Nail Gear: Onyx - thinks Smackers version of Urban Decay Bruise.

Orly: Orange Punch - I'm a SUCKER for these bottles!

Chelsea: Psycho Green - long time lemming gone!

L'Oreal: Plumage - another long time lemming gone as well! Another UD Bruise-like polish

Now I know these four bottles look gross, but I got them all under a dollar at a thift store, so after a little TLC they'll look brand new!

Covergirl: Blue Parfait

Nail Gear: Glory by Audrey

L'Oreal: Berry Blue

Tropez: Peacock Blue

China Glaze: Dorothy Who?

OPI: Absolutely Alice - I found this gem (and yes, it's legit and real!) at a flea market for a DOLLAR. A DOLLAR. It's a backup for me, but I know someone who will be the PERFECT new owner of this little guy!

Pretty Serious: Venomous

Pretty Serious: Party By The Pool

Hare polish: Bisbee 2.0

Hare polish: Asteroid Turf

The Hungry Asian: Peachy Keen

Rimmel 60 Seconds: I Lilac You

Rimmel Sweetie Crush: Applelicious

Rimmel Sweetie Crush: Violet Swizzle

Rimmel Sweetie Crush: Blueberry Whiz

Nails Inc Beaded Polish: Hampstead

Nails Inc: Buckingham Street

Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish: Bond Street

Cynthia Rowley crystal cap polishes in blue and green - I'm a sucker for any and all crystal capped polishes. I have no control when I see them.

Funky Fingers: Venom

Revlon Parfumerie: Autumn Spice

Revlon Parfumerie: Surf Spray

Revlon: Graffiti Top Coat

Revlon: Chameleon

Of course I had to hit up Sally's for their BOGO on red tagged clearance!

China Glaze: Sand Dolla Make You Holla

China Glaze: Teal The Tide Turns

China Glaze: Seahorsin' Around

Sally Girl: Chocolate Chip

Well, ladies, I hope to see you all again soon!

PEACE!

<3 Dana

  1. Welcome back! I can't believe you found Absolutely Alice for just a dollar! I was lucky enough to find it for the price of a regular bottle of OPI but you can't beat a dollar.
