Essence Crazy Good Times Part 2 - Candyction & Paradelade

Time for day two!

Today I have two more fabulous polishes to share with you from The Crazy Good Times collection. I hope you all love this collection as much as I do. :) First up for today I have Candyction. I'm a little annoyed at how this color photographed. It's not as red as my pics would make you think - it's a vibrant in-your-face coral/orange polish loaded with matching flakies floating within. It's so bright and prefect for summer! This is two coats. FREAKIN LOVE!

Next up I have Hunt Me If You Can from the Vampires Love collection's twin sister, Colourbration. It's a smooth as can be black based polish with silver micro glitter. As common as these kinds of polish can be, I can't seem to ever get enough! I love black polish with glitter, they're the perfect mix of grunge and sophistication. SCORE!

Keep your eyes peeled for day 3 tomorrow!

MAC - Coconut Ice

Hello everyone!

Is it really Monday again? Bleh! I hope everyone had a great Super Bowl Weekend. I went to a co-workers party, it was a nice time considering I don't watch football. :P Today I have for you my first and only MAC nail polish that I have in my stash - Coconut Ice from their Spring 2010 MAC's In Lillyland Collection. I got it in a swap during my very first NB meet-up and has been sitting in my untrieds ever since. Normally I'm not a coral-toned polish girl because of my fair skin-tone, but hey. Why not try it out? Here it is!

As I had said, this is my first MAC polish. That being said, MAC has an array of polishes that I wish I could get my hands on. I mean LOTS! I have read in other blogs that their polishes can be streaky - and that unfortunately proved all too true. It was uneven as well. Perhaps I didn't let it dry well enough between coats. Next time I'll test out that theory. Coconut Ice actually ended up working really well with my skin-tone, I really liked the color on me! This is three coats.

I hope you have a great start to the week!

Old and New - Vintage Avon Nocturnal & Essence Multi Dimension XXXL Shine Just Shout!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm very, very pumped about the Old polish in today's post. I found this gem at a thrift store for 99 cents. I couldn't find any info online about this polish. Low and behold, the lovely Kaz of Pretty Random shot me a link on Twitter of her swatches and info on the line that you can read here. Now I just need the rest! :P

Nocturnal is a great polish, shimmery army/olive green. I love the gold shimmer woven throughout! It's just beautiful! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! As I said before, I must find the entire collection now. It is my goal. :D This is three thin coats.

Next up I have an Essence polish! Living in the states, we get SUCH a limited selection of Essence polishes, which is a shame since I really adore their polishes! I have found that the easiest ways to get your hands on them is through swapping or blog sales. This one is from a blog sale.

Just shout! is a bright coral/pink polish, one that I think will be perfect this summer for pedicures for sure. Smooth Essence formula, two coat.

Deborah Lippman Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

I FINALLY became the proud first-time owner of Deborah Lippman polishes! It was a defining moment for me, I must say. The first I picked out was the first I wanted to try. I'm a BIG fan of corals/oranges, so this one was a big no-brainer. Here we go! Indoor shots first.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is a STUNNING coral/orange creme. It was love at first sight. I noticed while swatching them it takes on a more coral look in the sunlight, indoor taking on more orange. I went with two coats. This is the polish I just wore on my vacation when I got engaged!!!!! <3 Time for sunny shots!:)
I was EXTREMELY pleased with my first Deborah Lippman experience. There were barely ANY chips/tip wear during my vacay. Only after hitting up the beach and scraping my hand on a rock did it finally give in. Two thumbs up!
The line of polishes can be purchased at www.Lippmancollection.com and also at fine department stores such as Nordstrom, Neman Marcus, etc. They retail for $16/solid colors & $18/glitters
